Have you tried bolting a dremel or router to your RepRap? Can you engrave and drill PCBs? Or cut wood, or ... steel? (Or do you have a commercial mill or CNC router?)

What is the problem you are trying to fix in the parts you are producing? The extruder gear is just pushing filament into hot end to pressurize the tube in the hot end to push out plastic thru the nozzle. It seems almost impossible to seal the output of the gear movement to the input of the hotend. The filament diameter also varies. What type of two part resin would you use? Does it exist? What about hardening before it gets out -- plugged up tubing. Perhaps a material that is set down -- then some other chemical to fix it. Sort of like cyanoacrylic and accelerator A injet type cartridge laying down part1 then another cartridge laying down the fixer. I built an ATI mechanicals Ordbot Hadron last August and have been using it ever since. RAMPS, Marlin, Repitier-host, win XP64 Great little printer. Lots of problems and tweeks to get decent prints. Z-Axis problems and extruder most frustrating. My extruder a mBot Mk7 1.75 mm I have used PLA, ABS, Nylon. Mods -- Z-axis couplers, Z-axis stabilizers . cooling, glass bed Important level bed,by cozmicray - Extruded Aluminum Frames

Most electric troll outboards have the motor at the bottom underwater with a direct drive to propeller. A waterproof case with a waterproof bearing out to the prop. This also keeps the motor cool. Just 1000+ people waiting to get their Makibox kit and start assembly and become frustrated and fill up thousands of messages on many forums. Hey they did an Alpha, improved the printer did a beta build came up with ways to make it producable and improved the printer. Darkpaw thanks for info. I can't see how original TK-0 tensions the belts --- I think tensioning belts is critical and the attachment to X or Y plate should be very secure. Do you think the small diameter guiderods will sag with the bigger build area and span? What is 'camrap' software? I have Ordbot Hadron and really like makerslides and the RAMPS1.4 has served well. Really neat mod to TK-0. How do you connect your MDF parts, wood screws or inserts and machine screws. What type of MDF are you using? Does Masonite make a good Y stage and heater platform? Looks like your using aluminum lab support rods for some of the supports. What mechanism is used to adjust belt tension, and X and Y axes? What electronics are you using? How is the heated bed going to be insulated from Y drive? What is the design for bed leveling? X-Y plane connection to Z plane seems wimpy ( like Ordbot) How to make / keep Z axis perpendicular to X-Y? Just may be better with large square base. (portable model + Fixed model There seems to be NO way to adjust belt tension and keep it tensioned properly? How are the belts attached to slby cozmicray - General
