Hello. have mounted a 500mw laser on to my prusa i3. Have generated a gcode. and select the file from sd card on the printer. I get a flash from the laser, and the sd card in the display says 53% and goes back to standby mode any ideas? nothing happens. just a flash from laser. and flash 53% in the dispaly. thanks for input. i am using pla the type that came with the printer. i have read that this is no good. so i would try to get some PETG then. I have a multimeter with temp so i will try that also. due to the high temperatures i use. is that i used a IR meter to measure the temp direct on the nozzle and it is 50C wrong. but i will check again with a multimeter..by tikkis - Prusa i3 and variants
Hello. i have had my Sunhokey purse i3 for a while now, and hate it so mutch. i have calibrated XZY and the platform to the best of my abillity . the bed is calibrated with a feeler gauge to 0.1mm distance from bed to nozzle, and z offset is set to -0,1 in slicer (repeater host). for the have worked on this machine for 4 month but i can't get it to print properly. No mather what i do the printby tikkis - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi. i bought a plate of borosilicate glass. but when i put it on my table top the glass is not level. when i have it on the table 3 of the corners is on the tabletop. but the last corner of the borosilicate is 1mm over the table top. if i turn the borosilicate plat1e. the problem is at the same corner all the time. have tried to place it on a mirror and living room windows. but the borosilicatby tikkis - General

hello. i man calibrating my sunhokey prusa i3 etruder. and wonder what type of stepper motor this is? could some one help me with the math? i measured out 150mm and extruded 100mm. (G1 E100 F90 at temp 215C) the fillment has was left is 74. 150-74=76mm extruded filament-. in the display in the purse i3. i have Amax E: 10000 Esteps/mm: +0080.5 Thank you for any replyby tikkis - General
