it is an e-go but my adapter has different pinout so I used what you have posted in the wiki Gen7 GND (Pin 1) +5 Volts (Pin 3) RxD (Pin 4) TxD (Pin 5) with what my adapter says on the board (it is different than the one you posted) your adapter is USB-TTL adapter GND (Pin 5) +5 Volts (Pin 6) TxD (Pin 3) RxD (Pin 4) my adapter has pin1= ground, pin2=rxd, pin3=txd, pin4=5volt , pin5=by waste - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
yep I think the RXD/TXD wires should be crossed baud rates should be set different than the 9600 that the test file says??by waste - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
I have the the same issue. Gen7 board, this converter the usb2serial board connects a little bit differently pin1, ground pin2, rxd pin3, txd pin4, 5volt so I connected them accordingly arduino 0023 on ubuntu linux ATMEGA 20PU selected /dev/ttyUSB0 selected and I get this message avrdude: stk500_2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout tried power from PSU tried power from Serial the same thinby waste - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
halo everybody, one of the problems of the 1watt 445nm units is that in reality they are a multidiode solution (2x500mw) and that affects the the size and shape of the beam (1watt 445nm beams are not round). there is a debate about if a single diode 500mw 405nm diode will focus better (and have better cutting results) than a 1watt 445nm unit. But on the other hand 405nm is not visible so focusiby waste - Laser Cutter Working Group
Is a filter needed even when you cut safe material for lasers (paper, transperancies, balsa wood)? I totally agree with VDX that even the filtered stuff is better to throw them out the windowby waste - Laser Cutter Working Group
