Hi. I think your profile will be expencive, and quite difficulte to extrude. If you look at the basic rules of aluminium extrusions construction, you would see that you should aim for even wall thickness, and as few closed openings as possible. At the moment, I think it this profile will be really hard to extrude within the tollerances we need....by Nahoj - Extruded Aluminum Frames

I have a similar setup 3mm bowden tube, using M6 nuts. I have found that the nuts reduses the inner diameter of the tube. I fixed this by drilling the tube by hand using a 3mm drillbit....by Nahoj - Delta Machines
I have used carbon tubes on my repraps, and M4 threaded rods thru them to fix the construction. The frame gets really rigid.... I have been planning to test 20mm pvc tubes, or even printed tubes to go the reprap way.... :-)by Nahoj - Delta Machines
