So there are may designs out there for DIY Filament extruders which use wasted Filament or pellets. But why dont we use instead of one container which has the pellets inside, a mixing system which contains 5 (or even 6) mixing containers which mixes the pellets in the desired matter to receive a certain color? F.ex. using a big drill bit to transport the colors in the programmed matter (f.ex. 50%by strawmedia - Mechanics
back from holidays, thanks for the replies. @imqqmi not printing with vase mode, its a solid bottom with 200% extrusion width. x-wobble has been a thing since i started printing with this chinese kit, have to take a look at anti-wobble ideas, but then i have to wait for the t8 nut to arrive (because it doesnt use m8 leadscrews). @sarf2k4 @o_lampe i tried to level the bed as good as i could withby strawmedia - Printing

Hello I wanted to print a ramps to melzi Mount, but somehow all of the holes are too small to fit an m3 screw, but they have a radius of 2mm. I printed a 2cm test cube and everything was fine. Printer : i3 variant with 0.4mm nozzle and 1.75mm Filament Diameter Print Settings : 1.75mm Filament Diameter ; Extrusian Multiplier : 1 ; Hotend Temp : 200C ; Bed Temp : 60C ; Layer Height : 0.2mm ;by strawmedia - Slic3r
I would like to help, but i "Upgrades" my hesine printer to use a ramps (because one of the stepper driver in the melzi was dead and i didnt wanted to wait 1month for the replacement) und use Marlin AS Firmware. You mayve want to usw slic3r instead of cura AS I didn't managed to get anything printed without problems with cura. And maybe some generally things about it: you really want to do sometby strawmedia - Printing
Hello there Again me with a new problem. Its been a thing since the first print that after the first layer the following 2-4 layers seem to shrink a little bit and make a gap after it. Also i think that the x-axis is moving a little bit back and forth so it makes a wobbly pattern. Any suggestions how to prevent it? Hardware : Prusa i3 variant with Marlin & Ramps1.4 (and Octoprint) Pictureby strawmedia - Printing
Tigthened everything again and put the trimpot in its original position, it seemed like it was set to a lower voltage, so that maybe was a problem. lets see how this print turns out. EDIT: Seems to work again, thanksby strawmedia - Printing
Ok thanks, i will try that But do you have any idea why the Hotend moved away from its original position?by strawmedia - Printing
First of all, what im using: Ramps 1.4 with 3 A4988 and 1 DRV8825 (replaced one Stepstick due to failure). An i3 Style Printer from China. Slic3r as Slicer and Marlin as the Firmware. With an Pi attached to it for octoprint I had a problem with the Z-Axis Stepper to drive the steppers, as the driver had overheating issue even with an extra cooler on the ramps. One day I wanted to touch it andby strawmedia - Printing
