Would reducing the X and Y axis by 2:1 and dropping from 1/16 micro step to 1/8 micro step have any advantage? I would imagine that you would have more achievable accuracy at 1/8th step due to having more torque and you would still be able to drive at "1/16" step. The question I really have is would this be negligible?by GrahamCracker - Mechanics
Well, I ended up checking every single pin on the mega to find out that they all work. I swapped to E1 and currently it is working I'll probably dig into it more tomorrow and see if I can report back with anything else I find.by GrahamCracker - Reprappers

Hey everyone, So before I get into checking every single pin on these controllers I want to see if anyone knows a possible cause of this issue. I've been using this printer for about 4 months with no electronic issues at all. The last couple prints I have tried had shown missing layers getting progressively worse as time goes on. The other day my final print had quit extruding part way through aby GrahamCracker - Reprappers
I completely agree with the the bed being too close to the nozzle. I believe my glass is warped. I will report back when I get new glass to confirm this if this is the case for other users. As for the post from waitaki, I did try reducing my first layer height and this "worked" in some cases. I believe this was a band aid to another problem, which I think is warped glass.by GrahamCracker - Printing
Hi everyone, So I've been having an issue I cant seem to track down no matter what I try. In the back of my prints specifically while the brim is being laid down the print starts to bubble up and not stick to the bed at all. This only happens in the back of my prints though which I find odd. Another thing I find odd is that I can print abs absolutely no problem and the part sticks to the bed so wby GrahamCracker - Printing
