Beautiful machine, you have skills Really looking forward to more video! - Marinus Nevermind, I found it!by Ohmarinus - Delta Machines
Beautiful design, I am still planning the build of my 'next' machine, currently using a RepRap Air 2, but I am looking forward to building either a MendelMax or a Deltabot. Deltabot seems cheaper (1 less motor, and all stepper drivers are only controlling one stepper motor). However, the reason why I want to build a MendelMax is because of the extrusions, but since this Kossel uses extrusions..by Ohmarinus - General
I'm starting to suspect something is weird on my Sanguino. Today after replacing all the wiring, my Z-axis moved up when I told it to look for home... After restarting the printer a few times, and playing with the wiring, it worked again. I still don't suspect any wire problems, I have measured the connections that are giving me trouble, even wiggled them while measuring and I couldn't find any dby Ohmarinus - Controllers
Not sure, but I think you need to have a fan cooling the upper part of your hotend, your filament is melting before it gets into the specified 'melt zone'.by Ohmarinus - Printing
The whole thing is that my printer didn't do this before, so thats rule number one. Have checked all my wiring, there are no shorts and I have no idea how that could possibly happen since with a Budaschnozzle, the hotend wires are so incredibly well kept in place by the plates above the aluminum heater block.. These temperature fluctuations are logically not a power fail, since they are going oby Ohmarinus - Controllers

Keep in mind that printing a full-size item on even a 200x200x120mm already takes more than a whole day. I can't imagine you wanting to make prints that take a few days. If you ever get an error during the print, you might have waited a few days for it to finish for nothing. That said, I think theres A4-sized heatbeds, haven't seen them bigger. And I definitely haven't seen kits that big.by Ohmarinus - General
Hi, I'm printing now for a few weeks with the G3D Budaschnozzle and I've had good results. Now since a few days I have some weird effect in my Repetier Host, the temperature goes up less quick than before and eventually when it gets around 210º, suddenly in a split second it jumps to 189º and back to 233º, not in a linear fashion, it just displays those three values withint a few seconds. 1. Dedicated 12V PSU (this one: ) 2. 529 watts 3. 24 ampéres 4. 12a to 17a, it is connected to the PSU directly with a relais in between to switch on/off with sanguino signal 5. Marlin 6. No 7. Works great, heats up quick, almost as quick as my hotend, first layer: 110º, second layer 100º (with quick I mean it's ready to print in 5 minutes)by Ohmarinus - Controllers
This looks really good... Man, now I'm doubting again.. Should I build a Rostock or a Mendelmax... pffffff I have almost all he required vitamins, all I have to do is either buy the Rostock linear rods + pulleys + print rostock parts, or buy aluminum extrusions and order some linear rods and print out the mendelmax parts... Is the Rostock good with the printed arms? And how are the printed jointby Ohmarinus - Delta Machines

You're printing very fast, slow it down, and this: "- 0.35 nozzle treated as 0.25 in firmware" is a major error of you and should be set to realistic values. Calibrate firstby Ohmarinus - Printing
Depending on your hotend, it works or doesn't work. Some hotends allow a max of 3.15mm to be fed in, the filament also expands when it gets heated so you might have it jam prematurely from heat that travels up the hotend. I placed a cooling fan on the top of the hotend to cool it down and I haven't had any jams eversince.by Ohmarinus - General
Does repetier say anything in the log like protection messages? I get that sometimes, my hotend has been acting weird since two days with temperatures dropping randomly from 227 to 201 in a split second and then again it goes up to 233.. Nuts! Sometimes this weird behaviour causes it to give the 'prohibit dangerous extrude' or something. But till now it has always kept on going perfectly.. You cby Ohmarinus - Printing
The threaded rods in the local metal shop were all bent, I managed to find one that was almost perfectly straight and it already took out all the wobble for me. I also added an aluminum connector with a springy-cut middle part, this stabilizes the rod a bit more and catches some of the wobble. Those are two things you can try. Some people say it helps to 'fixate' the threaded rod on the free enby Ohmarinus - Printing
The only weird part is the Bed, it moves both X&Y. I think it's weird, it just doesn't feel good. I am doubting to build a Rostock, so you don't have a moving bed, and what does Velleman do? Any pro's to this?by Ohmarinus - General
It is good of you to come out with this story, I also have a bad experience with a certain vendor, but was afraid to tell this vendors name, indeed for the same reason as you. My vendor wasn't Trinitylabs, it was another one, and I was afraid to complain too much because I still wanted to have the option of claiming replacement parts from this particular vendor.
I have seen one, it looks like they have a lot of parts just copied from RepRap... Even the gear on the hobbed bolt has holes in it, like the one I have.by Ohmarinus - General
Anyone tried it? Any comments on the part? I'm very happy with it, except for some structural points that I can make it stronger in areas. I haven't seen any 'simple' fan holder specifically for the Sanguino. They are all so bulky and big.by Ohmarinus - Look what I made!
QuoteOur own 3D Printer Welcome on our blog.
