Hi there,
I cannot compile Sprinter firmware after upgrade from Ubuntu 10.x to 11.10. Before upgrade all was OK, but now if I run "Verify" command (the play button) in the Arduino 022 or 018 (I tested both), after while it says Error compiling and writes down in the black window:

Firmware - mainstream and related support
Hi there!
I'm newbie in RepRap and G-code. My (Mendel-Prusa/Wade) printer started to produce first printouts which are not perfectly tuned-up, but usable
Now I would like to write/modify some start and end G-codes for Skeinforge.
It would be nice to reset E value in the begining in the startcode. I'm trying to print without the raft module and that's why I would like to print some kind of "lea

Problem solved
Source of the problems was, that I'm using atmega644 and not 644P procesor. When I tried to compile Sprint firmware, all seemed to be OK, but in the moment I tried to upload it to the board, avrdude told, that the signature of the chip doesn't response to the compiled file and it didn't upload anything.
So I tried to edit atmega644P (or atmega644p) strings in Sprint Makefile, co

Sanguino(lolu)
I have soldered Sanguinololu ver: 1.3a, programmed bootloader and it seems that succesfully programmed Sprint firmware using USB to atmega644 (I'm using 644 not 644P).
When I connect the board (without Pololus and any other devices (thermistors and endstops) connected), in pronterface, it writes:
start
Printer is now online
SD init fail
but it seems, that the board ignores any other commands.

Hi everybody,
I'm building my first RepRap - Prusa, and I'm not sure which belts are pulleys designet for. I have found company which sells belts, but they have types T5 and AT5. The AT5 belt has a bit longer teeth with shorter round shaped spaces in oposite to T5 profile, which has aproximately 1:1 ratio tooth:space and teeth are more rectangular (both belts have the right 5 mm pitch).
