After spending some quality time with the printer and testing your suggestions; my latest conclusion is that the retract speed increases print speed and hot end cant keep up.
I will try to update PID values with the ones I will get while heating bed, running fans at 100% and extruding at 200mm/s
Or maybe I should try using PID_EXTRUSION_SCALING
Else, I dont know what to do, I might go back to

Thank you for the reply.
Electronics and motors are powered seperately already, they are behind a PSU with ground and battery.
I will check the jerk (it was set properly), if seperating extruder motor cables from hot end thermistor cables. They are tied to each other (about 40cmlong) and this would be making the false reads on temperature as you suggested.
I will update as soon as I can test.

Currently I am printing from SD card on RAMPS 1.4 with final 8bit version of Marlin. I monitored temperature on screen. I print at 220C and it goes down to 211 and goes back up but it shows 190 for a brief moment and goes back to 215 instantly. This made me think if it was a loose cable on temp probe but it is not the case.
I am testing on letice cube with 20% size, lots of retracts and a small

Hi,
I am experienced with 3D printers, I have build 8 of them.
But I am facing a new problem with the one I recently made. I have used high torque steppers while building it. It is getting near perfect prints, all set and runs perfectly.
Yesterday, I decided to play with the retraction settings to see how faster can it retract. Stepper manages to get 200mm/s retraction without problems. But wh

Well, if it is geared or wade style. M4 rod would go out of peek with the preasure you apply to your flament. But if you are going to use 1.75mm feed filament and check temperature very carefuly. M4 might work.
In my experience, even M6 goes out of PEEK in some cases.

I am suffering same issue.
It just stops at random, mainboard leds doesnt feel like if it was reseted but maybe the extruder board can be doing that reset thing.
Also it stops at middle of a layer not a time when it should move on Z or even close to moving Z.
I thought it was because of power supply, so i changed it to a lab style power supply and now I have very good power supply but still it

Well, my order, a complete laser cut mendel, has arrived me after 70 days of my purchase. Product is fine, not good or best. Extruder failed after like 3 prints, so I had to replace it my own creation :p and their temp measuring system is a complete fail. They cant even help you on that too. So I had to go for AD595...
Anyway, I am sure soon there will be better places to order from.

I have attached a simple reflection of what we think.
Moving surface after print may make it easy to remove.
I think it might be some cloth or a paper like papyrus. Cloth might be better because we might be able to place heaters under surface to avoid warping during printing.
Looking forward to have your comments.

Hey there.
A friend of mine complained about that it takes time to unload prints from surface and again it takes time again to make surface ready for another print.
I had an idea to make it shorter and easier. So our team which is me and my brother atm, has started working on that. Innitial design is simple and I will share it here very soon. When we get design to a point where we believe it ca
