I purchased a Re Arm board from Panucatt Devices to replace my Arduino 2560 Mega Board .
Now my problem I have look all over to understand the Smoothie system but am just not getting it.
I am familiar with the arduino Marlin software have been working with it for years. But the
new re Arm board only runs Smoothie Any ways I thought I would try the Smoothie
system on my delta printer.

Thanks so much for your input. I think I may have finally stumbled on to the problem and I think it is right in line with what you are saying .
The extruder I am using had me set it to 16 micro steps which worked out to 1162 steps per mm. Way to high!! . Causing to much over head
step out put . I set it down to 292 or quad stepping
and now the printer seems to be moving much closer to the right

Have found if I lower the Delta_segments_per_second to 40 and much of the jitters stopped but feed rate of the moves still not correct.
Still working to a better machine.

Hey guys has any one had a problem with the feed motor making the print speed very inconsistent. When I run my delta
printer with out the feed motor being used in the gcode the machine moves very smoothly. Soon as I use the filament feed
motor the moves get very irratice . It does not appear to be a power problem since I have run tests with the 2 different power
supplys and When I disconnec

I am using a arduino to Control my Delta Rep Rap. I have been using Cardboard since I can not get the PLA to stick to Blue Tape. I do not understand why
I have see so many people use blue tap and it works for them but PLA never sticks to the tape for me. Anyways I wanted to try the heated bed.
For some reason the heated bed will not turn on. At least no power the D8 port on the Arduino Ramp 1.4

I have seen this quote many times on the web that Marlin can (The advantage is the firmware can choose the resolution,
and can perform the arc with nearly constant velocity, resulting in a nice finish. Can some one tell me where this setting is?
I have been getting good prints then bad ones. Seems that the printer does not hold consistant velocity while printing it will do some of the printi

That is what I was thinking but have not seen any one else having this problem. Also When I changed to 16 micro stepping the machine went out of adjustment.
I started to have a dome in the middle of the travel . The platen no longer kept the correct hight all the way across the x travel direction or the Y travel direction.
The speed of the machine was already half as fast as before..

Firmware - mainstream and related support
I had my delta Printer working with the arduino ramp set to 8 micro steps. I printed many parts with good
success . Then I thought why not get better resolution and change it to 16 microsteps. I changed the Marlin
config H file to the new steps per unit changed the ramp to 16 micro steps. The machine homes the same except it is smother a good thing.
It prints the parts the correct size as befo

Thanks but got it working with the thermosister .
I seems it would be nice if there was a way to turn this option off so if you wanted to use the system
as a cnc router for example you would not need to set it with a resistor.

I asked before so sorry for repeating the question. For some reason I have been able to get the marlin software
loaded into in to the arduino got the Ramp configured with the LCD screen/ SD card reader. Modified the marlin software for my
larger format delta printer. The problem seems to be that the system will not execute the G1 moves.
The system will home using the G28 and will execute the

I am building a Delta style RepRap. I am running marlin with a lcd screen in a 1.4 ramp board.
after MUCH teaking I have gotten to a point were I can manualy move in x y and z I can home the
machine G28 I can put M0 in the code to have it stop and wait for inputs . But it will not run any
other gcode G1 feed move I get nothing Go move I get nothing G90 or G91 all have no effect.
I am running t
