I upgraded monodevelop via badgerports and got rid of the monodoc error so now it's just warnings.
The upgrade must have some file(s) in it because I can now run, even close the app window while maximized and it still fires up afterward on both Installations (PC and laptop). I'm sure that was not wise to upgrade for that but it gives me something to play with for now.

I'm not a coder and cant really help fix it but output of my system follows:

is the error...

I created another user with admin rights and was able to set RepetierHost up on that user. The configure went fine and I could start the host. I did not resize the window at all, simply exited out and received the same error when I ran "repetierHost" for the second and several times after.
I left all the slic3r options at default (default slic3r options on my other attempts as well).

I did see your posts but I wanted to make another one for Ubuntu ... not sure if there would be a difference but now I know it's not just me
Two things though ... I have Ubuntu and mine seems to be calling errors specifically due to something with Slic3r.

Awesome!! That did the trick. Beautiful prints once again :-) 1k lines and zero errors ... yay! Thanks again Repetier. With this firmware, Slic3r, and the host .... it's got to be (IMO) the easiest, most intuitive, and smooth printing tool-chain. Can't thank you enough.

Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
Hi. I didn't have trouble in the past but recently I am having so many communications problems that the print eventually stops. It resends commands all the time. Not sure what I should try. I tried diff baud rates, new USB cable, diff USB port on the PC ... RAMPS1.4, Ubuntu 10.04, Repetier Host and Repetier firmware, Repetier Protocol, any ideas? It is great firmware and software BTW :-) so thank
