would like to know how the Bulldog XL reliability is?
cant really find any reviews on this extruder. thinking about replacing my current Greg's Hinged extruder. current extruder seems to give to many problems, hobbed bolt eating the filament. tried new rolls, different tension. not sure the hobbed bolt is getting dull.
thanks for any input on the Bulldog XL

Try hair spray. I have my bed @70. Nozzle at 225. Used to have hexagon hot end and never had an issue with pla. Only with abs lifting.
Now I have the Prometheus hotend and I am having some trouble. I have to make sure my bed is sticky or the pla will lift. Buy I think it has to do with how I have the hotend setup. With Prometheus I feel that I have to turn down the heat on the nozzle to 200 bu

I think there consistent. I printed with the hex head at .3 with good results. Hex head at .1 got OK results but the issue was heat from hex head.
Think I might be over extruding. How can I fix that in cura? Going to try using slic3r and see what results I get...just have to set it up for auto bed leveling

Printing
Having an issue where my printed part is nor the same as the stl model. I have been able to print successfully several times but there are certain larger parts that I try to print and they come out malformed.
The part that is printing will print fine but just on one specific side is where the issue happens. Rest of part prints fine. I have changed the orientation of the part on the print bed an
