I have a last ramps system. I will upgrade in the future but for now it must do. I want to use UBL with it however but the eeprom is too small. I have several i2c 1Mb eeproms I got for the ramps fd(before I threw them out) Could I add these so as to have enough room for what I want?
Thanks

Marlin-Kimbra on a ruramps board. I think its the offset that is confusing me. If the nozzle is hitting the bed should the offset be positive or negative? I did as suggested to someone else and did a series of g30 in the same spot and it was accurate to within 0.04 so the only thing it can really be is the offset

Hi,
I have the orion module on my cr10 clone and cannot get it to give me repeatable results. Obviously I am doing something wrong. One time it will print nicely, the next it will plough into the bed and then the next it prints in mid air. The switch on touching the bed seems reliable now but I have no idea what to try now. Any pointers most appreciated.

Using latest version on a standard ramps 1.4. Work beautifully until I try to add the LCD. Wont compile with error:-

Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
Just finished a d bot build and am working through the kinks. My main problem is that when I home the Y axis and it hits the endstop, the X axis bounces around horribly. I can home the x and z without problem. Has anyone encountered this before and what can I look at to fix it? I am running a ramps 1.4 with marlin firmware from thingiverse..

It is defined as a RAMPS 1.3/1.4 33. I have tried it with that option and the 1.4 option but is says no heater pin definition.

Prusa i3 and variants
I bought a printer but one of the stepper motors was faulty. I had to wait for a replacement coming from china so decided to buy a set from ebay. When they arrived I tried them in the printer but they just vibrated. I tried changing the current with the driver pot but no luck. I investigated further to discover that the set that came with the printer were 2.7 volt and the ones from ebay were 12v.

I have a prusa i3 running marlin 1. I generally like to have the latest softwae installed on everything so I I downloaded 1.1.1 rc3. However configuration.h is baffling me. I cant get past motherboard for goodness sake. I have tried to use #define BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB 43 both with and without the number but it says heater pin 0 is not defined for this motherboard. After trawling through the hu

My first build almost complete bar fine tuning. My X and Y axis motors work quietly and well. The Z axis however grind and vibrate slipping and changing direction. I assume I need to adjust the pot on the step stick, increasing the current? Any advice most appreciated

The chinese ones are working, its the new replacements that just vibrate. Could they be different voltages?

Built my first Prusa i3. One stepper was seized solid. Contacted vendor and he is sending one from china. Couldnt be bothered waiting for that so bought 4 new nema 17 12v. Problem is that new motors just vibrate not turn. I think they may be a different voltage. Is there a hardware fix ie the pot on the driver board, or do I need to wait for chinese postal system. Im using a4988 driver boards. Th
