Hello everyone , I have a question and I need some assistant here. I have a homemade custom printer and using mega and ramps 1.4 and have uploaded marlin firmware as most ppl do. here is my question I have no endstops installed in my printer and there seems to be a problem with marlin on that. is there any way I can disable endstops settings on marlin ? cause I cant make my motors move cause the

Hello everyone. So i finally got a arduino mega and ramps 1.4 for my custom 3d printer.both r from china just saying.so here is the thing i connect mega with the usb from computer and i connect the power from a psu (10A,340W) on the ramps.psu wroks fine but if i connect both inputs on ramps the psu doesnt work ( can see the psu fan not moving). If i connect the psu on heatbed input only it works

Ok so I'm using PLA material 1.75mm sry for nor mention it earlier. a friend told me to use microsteps so I did I'm using 1/16 on all my motors now so I adjust my steps again and did some tests on extrusion again. it seems that now its working better at 200 C temp and the calibrate is right now but I can hear a very small buzz noise from the motor I tried to play with the potentiometer but didn't

Yes of course that's what I meant. I measure the filament that's fed into the extruder when the heater is off and when its on, those measurements are diferent and that leads to underextrusion.

Hell everyone , I would like a help with a problem I have. I have made a custom build 3d printer and I'm using Arduino uno and cnc shield for it. I have 4 stepper nema 17 3 for axis and 1 for extruder. I have calibrate my steppers so I can adjust the steps per mm
with the classic way. anyhow my problem is that I have calibrate my E stepper with my hot end disable, I asked to extrude 100mm and mea

Ok have one more question and I hope my last . Its not on the same subject but I don't really like to open lots of posts. Anyway I have calibrate my extruder motor so I can know how much steps it needs per mm , I did that the classical way, measure some distance on the filament , tell motor to extrude a known distance and measure again. But when I do that again with my heater on and extruding fil

Yes thank you so much but figured it out too seems I had the wrong pin on cnc cause AIO2 is actually pin 2 on uno, so I have mine plugged there, also have plugged my heater on AIO1 or resume pin on cnc shield. Sty for haven't replied all this time but I was bussy fixing my printer and when I'm finally done and make ot work ill try to write a full guide on how to build 3d printer with uno and cnc c

Ok so I set up the thermistor as u said with the resistor and the capacitor wired on resume and GND and tested it on ardiuno and its working. the problem I have now is that in pronterface it doesn't show me the right temp it only gives me a temp about 130 C either I have the thermistor plugged or not. In teacup I have defined the thermistor with most default inpus except the beta which I changed.

Hello caslor, sry I cannot help u on that at all but I can use your help plz. I made also a 3d printer using uno and cnc shield and teacup but I'm having problems on how to connect the thermistor and the heater can u plz send me a photo of how u wire them or just tell me? I saw u said that u plugged in the heater on DIO10 but that is pin for the stepper for me also isn't better for mosfet to be

Hello I am also new to 3d printers and generally in electronics so those diagrams don't help me at all, lol. Anyway in my case I'm using Arduino uno too + cnc shield v3 and using teacup firmware also and I have the same problems too. On the picture is the cnc shield AIO3 is the 3rd one so its A2 on uno cause its counting from 0 and it goes to resume pins on cnc so I plug there my thermistor but w
