I had reset problems caused by inverted endstop wiring. Check if your endstops are wired like its in your firmware defined.

hey i got smilar results with my PEI printbed, PLA stucks at 45° (big parts need a bit more heat like 50°).
Never got any lifting Problems. I drilled six holes in my PEI plate and screw it with m3 directly on my 4mm Aluminiumbed.
Works like charm!

Error: Printer halted. kill() called!

davor geht gar nichts.

Looks like the extruder is jamming. Which extruder so you use?

Hey,
i came a across a cheap Netfabb for Ultimaker licence.
Now im wondering if Netfabb works properly with reprap machines.
I mean both Printer (Ultimaker) and my Printer are using Marlin,
so it should work, or am i wrong?

That are Slic3r infills, left to right: honeycomb, archimedeanchords, octagramspiral, rectangular, hilbertcurve
Did someone tested the bowden edition yet?

Thanks and sorry for confusion, the Tie fighter is printed in two parts just like on thingiverse
The squares are in 0.3 layer height, the rest in 0.2mm, and its standard white PLA filament. I also tested 0.1mm Layerheight with a carabiner
but the Infill broke apart, so 0.15mm is the minimum with 0,4mm Nozzle.
Settings:
0,2mm Layer height
140% Layerwidth
1,2mm Retraction / 40mm/s

Hey,
i was running my Printer 24hrs the last three days and the Prints are getting better and better...
I want to test the 0,25mm nozzle in the next few weeks and a nice watercooled version
would be awesome.

Der soll an einen direct drive Extruder.
Momentan hab ich einen Nema17 mit 47NCM (66oz/inch)
der eigentlich recht zuverlässig extrudiert, 100NCM würden also locker reichen.

I finally got mine assembled,
the first few prints came out beatiful!
very even extrusion the whole time,
best Hotend so far (I had the QU-BD and Chess hotend)
ps: i Think you could shorten the Cooler to 20mm, or even 15mm heigh.
The Second ripple on my e3d was already cool...
like that:

could you send me the actual files?

I got my E3D today, earlier than expected.
Tomorrow i will cnc mill this Directdrive Extruder:
and test it a few days...
ps: the parts are very nice, but the printed Fan
mount is crap i hope you didn´t print it with your own hotend....

ive read a lot about this hotend,
but some of the problems sound like they have trouble
getting the heat away.
i thought about Fins, which could be easily produced and clamped like that:
with thermal grease and a 20-25mm fan it should be a very effective cooler...
also i was curious if there will be a 1.75mm version of it...
ps: it would be nice if Prusa would add usable 3D Files,

you can use the belts and pulleys of Paper Printers.
Im not sure about the motors but they could work too...

i was also wondering if its possible to Activate the hotend cooler
if the heater gets turned on til it is cooled down to 50° or something like that?

you mean that one?
If the description is correct, this motor would be a perfect fit for me.
Torture and Speeds are really impressive, i would buy it instantly.
I hope they have the motors back in stock soon...
and yes im using 1.75mm fillament, explains a lot.

really? that doesn´t sound good...
I had a 37ncm Motor in direct drive but it was too weak,
now im using a 49ncm stepper and it runs really well.
This Motor is described with 16kg-cm wich is like 160ncm,
so mathematicayl it should be more than stron enough.
i also thought about the ratio, 1:3 should be enough,
1:5 is a bit too much in my opinion. I think about
making my own gear reduction.

I will test this Motor for direct drive in the Future
At the moment im searching for the Gearbox itself,
but i found nothing where i can buy it standalone, yet.

you may be right for the X Axis, because both motors driving the same Belt,
but im not so sure about the Y Axis. With such a portal build every Engineer
would advise against a setup with two Mo

yes its a really fast machine, but it better should be.
At least it got a Single Extruder transported by 2 Motors on X Axis and 2 Motors on Y Axis.
But how do you sync the Stepper? Every Stepper has tolerances,
how did you guys eliminated them?

Its the last point holding me back from ordering
