You can't attach the heated bed to any other pins other than D8. this is the only one that is connected to the 11amp cct. In saying that it is the Only thing connected to the 11amp cct, So check your 11amp fuse is ok, and that you have 12v going into the 11amp sideby Dust - Reprappers
min endstop should be a X left, Y back (ie head is front in relation to bed) and Z down positions. X - should move towards the left X endstop Y - should move the bed back, towards the endstop at the back Z - should move down, towards the Z min endstop. So there is an issue with all 3 axis. X moves the wrong way Y endstop is at the wrong end, but is going the correct way Z moves the wrong wayby Dust - Printing
Yes you can edit that and use the Arduino IDE to write a new boot block and fuses. Or you can use the command line tool avrdude to just update the fuses. Both require a AVR programmer of some sort (eg )by Dust - Reprappers

You have badly setup 1284p fuses. The fuses on the 1284p set some of the functions of the pins, including jtag. If jtag is not turned off, those pins misbehave This kills pins 24-27, ie x-stop,y-stop,z-stop and X direction. seeby Dust - Reprappers

the firmware has been using 1284p for well over a year... on SL board too. One other option that comes to mind is 1284p fuses. open refers to the switch not being depressed. like triggered refers to the switch being depressed. Yes its the reverse of the logic levels on most setups. (open does not mean open cct) This is so when your end stop plug fall off (or switch fails open cct), you notice vs crashing bits of hardware together. The firmware is configurable so that if you can use NO vs NC so other type of endstops tby Dust - RAMPS Electronics
You can leave them out... or use then to turn on dust extracters/blowers. or cutting fluid, or even a light Ie they are quite useful to have. (may need relays with some of the above egs... as are only low voltage/current)by Dust - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
well power from the ramps to the mega is just threw the 5A fuse then threw D1 to the mega. very little to it. Fist check power is getting threw the 5A fuse, multimeter on dc voltage, find the two pins between the power plug and the stepper socket labled 12v-aux called extruder fan in this image One probe on each pin. This has been done... You will need a alu heat spreader over the heaters, to over come the cold edges of the HBPs in the middle joins. This will require at 4 * 11amps, 44amp at 12v, is not to be taken lightly. I know the person who did this quickly changed his mind and went with a mains powered large silicon heater, also removes the need to have a heat spreader. but lots the ability to onlby Dust - Developers
Big shifts are normally skipping steps, turn up your stepper current on the axis its slipping on a fraction (1/8 a turn), or reduce friction (make sure things are alighted correctly and lubricated) Small positioning errors are quite often the hot end not ridged on the extruder. This doesn’t make sense The controller reports the temp as over temp, this just sounds like the standard marlin over temp message. this is not dependant on OS. The controller doesn’t go, oh look im now connected to windows 8.1 lets break... it has no idea what Os its connected to. It doesnt care... They are all enabled, but if thats marlin they would be saying triggered if it was the problem I expected.. You should still disable the max endstops if your not using them So to recap your Z axis works, swapping those drivers and stepper motor to Y And it doesn’t work try sending 'g1 y100 f300' (move 100 in y very slowly 5 mm sec), in case for some reason it trying to move way to fast threby Dust - RAMPS Electronics
This does sound like a power issue Hot end uses about 2amps Heated bed uses about 11amps Most recommend a 20A 12v supply (I tend to get 30A, presuming it can do at a least 2/3rds of rated value) What are you using for a supply?by Dust - Reprappers
I agree, it sounds like there is something wrong with that pololu socket. I would guess a bad solder joint on one of the steppers motor pins, either on the plug or on the pololu socket side.by Dust - RAMPS Electronics
as long as you have set MOTHERBOARD == 33 or MOTHERBOARD == 34 or MOTHERBOARD == 35 the pins for a standard ramps are correct. To me that look like a endstop issue... the board thinks both min and max endstops are active so it cant move. Send a m119 to the printer to confirm.by Dust - RAMPS Electronics
Depends on your stepper drivers.. Jumpers go under the stepper drivers, normally you have all 3 on for 1/16 micro stepping when using a pololu or a clone. all 3 its 1/32 micro stepping is using a drv8825 Same with orientation, they are all pin compatible with (this is from the underside) I tent to try and identify the thick tracks going to the steppers. And they go same side as the steppby Dust - RAMPS Electronics
Not many run replicatorG or Repetier host. 'Most' use Pronterface or Cura, but that will not cause any of your issues. Re endstops, on a SL the central power pin on the enstops plugs is not connected to anything. There is a little jumper connector (well place for a solder blob) to select 5v or 12 to the power pins. For mechanical endstops you need to select 5v. Take a look at SL board bottby Dust - Reprappers

Im presuming that some sort of parallel breakout box? Reprap is a bit more complicated than that... we use micro contollers as the timing are critical (or you get blobs), these talk to stepper drivers with standard step and direction pins The controllers also take care of setting and maintaining the temperature of the hotend and heated bed.
