I had the same problem. First I checked the belt wasn't rubbing against its guides on both sides. Then I loosened the belt to the most it could be loosened to. Then I drilled holes in the extruder to mount the X axis on bearings using tie-down straps. Then I cleaned the rods with circuit-cleaner. Then I lubed the rods with lithium grease (the person and JCar said he uses Lanolin). Then I tried aby Sandstorm - General Mendel Topics
That's one cool machine. I was thinking the maths doesn't have to be that difficult. For example, if you assume the base height is the same size as the final arm (hand length), and that the final arm is always pointing down, then you only have to calculate three angles for every xyz location (because the base height and "hand" length cancel each other out). Also, there would only be one possibleby Sandstorm - Developers
If a solenoid on the head of Bowden extruder activated when material stops pouring, it could be set up to grab the plastic and stop it from flowing. Is there a command in the code which can say "stop extruding" that could be sent to such a solenoid?by Sandstorm - Developers
Has anybody thought of taking IK values and putting them in an array. For example, to take the closest x-y co-ordinates and match to the best vector co-ordinates. It would be a bit like fuzzy logic. Is there even a way to get IK values and map to xyz co-ordinates. I couldn't find any algorith in source code format which appeared to make sense. Does anyone know of anything practical for calculaby Sandstorm - Developers
