Frozen Prusa Mid-print - 11 years ago
I am having huge issues with my printer freezing mid print.. Often, it will freeze towards the beginning of the print and all movements are locked unless I unplug the printer from my computer for a few second. The hot end also retains the heat while frozen. It is almost like it just locks up. I have also successfully printed 3 hour prints before and other times I can not complete 2 minutes worthby cde - General

The print that works well is the calibration square which is a fairly quick print. it seems to me that it is stopping at a certain time during all prints possibly? this time it simply froze and did not go to an edge. not sure what is causing this mid print freezeby cde - General Mendel Topics

just got my prusa mendel going. using a printrboard with pronterface and slic3r. I have downloaded a couple of prints of off thingiverse and one printed fine while the others will mid print go crazy and move to the very edge of the board to start printing random lines. Not sure what triggers this random occurrence but any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!by cde - General Mendel Topics

Yeah I would rather do it through pronterface which seems easier. This may seem basic, but how do you change the e step values through pronterface with the M commands? and also how would I save these settings after I change them? Not sure if my marlin software is configured for that. Still has the original marlin loaded on it from printrboard. Thanks for your help I appreciate it!by cde - General Mendel Topics

Hello, I have been attempting to calibrate my extruder but unsuccessful. I am new to 3d printing. I have a prusa with printrboard revd electronics. It comes preloaded with marlin and I have found online that calibration happens through marlin. I have downloaded arduino, teensyduino, and marlin and attempted to change the values then load onto printrboard. The marlin file seems to have some probleby cde - General Mendel Topics
