yeah we had the problem that extending our y-axis mad the 8mm rod bend in the middle, also because of the weight of the bed itself, so we are using 12mm rods now instead of 8mm and find this much more stable. therefor you have to look beyond the standard 3dprint shop and look for a lm12uu.by Kirschner3D - General Mendel Topics

We're just finished building a custom made heated chamber and noticed that waiting around 50 minutes the chamber reached a temperature of 41 degrees (105 fahrenheit). Hi printer3d It is usefull when you post a problem to give me specification to what kind of printer you're using, nozzle diameter, slice program and so on. For the 1 problem could you post the beginning of your G-code, to look if there is a mistake in there. and for the 2 problem a picture would be nice to see how your PEEK is welded to your nozzle, because we don't know what kind of nozzle yoby Kirschner3D - Printing
Don't know if Repetier is the problem, but when we used RepetierHost it did things we didn't want it to do. Maybe try Pronterface and see if this changes anything for you.by Kirschner3D - Printing
Yeah that is a good article from Nophead, But it was a callibration issue the x and y axis where to short so that makes the hole to small as well. we sliced it with every slice program we have(slic3r, Kisslicer, Sfact, Cura) and don;t see any problems anymore in hole shrinkages. we like our holes now and practically everything we put in it fits.by Kirschner3D - Printing

Thank you for the reaction, i made a typo in the post the layer height was 0.2. i changed it now. furthermore i tried stretch in skeinforge and mad absurd changes to see if it would make that much of a difference but i still wouldn't fit.by Kirschner3D - Printing
I had the same problem, that even the temperature drops so low that it stops extruding but keeps on moving, because of prevention of cold extrusion. My problem was that the thermistor inside the nozzle was loose and was measuring temperature in mid air. This has a much lower temperature then when the thermistor is stuck against the metal of the nozzle.by Kirschner3D - Printing
I'm printing with a Prusai3 with a nozzle diameter of 0.4 printing with a layer height 0.2 filament diameter 1.75. Calibration is correct done this multiple times. I'm printing new parts for new printers that I want to build, but the holes that I print are smaller than they should be.
