When I'm printing PLA, the blue painters tape alone provides great traction. If I put hair spray or heat the platform, it's next to impossible to remove the print. I'm printing on a borosilicate glass as well.by dylan010101 - General Mendel Topics

In general I found black filament hard to work with. I ordered filaments from various sources on ebay and black ones always caused me trouble, i.e. blocking my j-head and rendering it completely useless. Some manufacturers add garbage metal powder to the filament to reduce cost, and they can add a lot in the black filament without changing its color.by dylan010101 - General Mendel Topics

maybe you could also consider adding a fan to cool the electronics and power supply. I sometimes have the machine shut down in the middle of a print. It was due to Pololu overheating.by dylan010101 - Look what I made!
