arduino 1.0.5 -r2" whats running here, Quotei click Sketch>add file > pins.h and it asks if i want to replace the existing Pins.h just shouldn't have to do that.by jinx - General
got me stumped coffee time,by jinx - General
see the marlin with the arduino symbol open that oneby jinx - General
look for the marlin file not the sub foldersby jinx - General
you missing quite a few files, download it again " download zip on the rightby jinx - General
pins.h aint in the config file you see that triangle click it pins.h towards the bottomby jinx - General
I remember, but if the pins.h aint right we cant proceed till it isby jinx - General
in the ardiuno IDE you see a small triangle facing down on te right hand side move the mouse over it and you see a list towards the bottom is were you see the pins.h file click it" its under the search iconby jinx - General
you mixing the files for some reason stay in the pins.h till it looks like Quote#if MOTHERBOARD == 3 || MOTHERBOARD == 33 || MOTHERBOARD == 34 || MOTHERBOARD == 77 #define KNOWN_BOARD 33 //////////////////FIX THIS////////////// //#ifndef __AVR_ATmega1280__ #ifndef __AVR_ATmega2560__ #error Oops! Make sure you have 'Arduino Mega' selected from the 'Tools -> Boards' menu. #endif //#endif /by jinx - General
Quote// 3 = MEGA/RAMPS up to 1.2 = 3 33 = RAMPS 1.3 (Power outputs: Extruder, Bed, Fan) // 34 = RAMPS 1.3 (Power outputs: Extruder0, Extruder1, Bed) // 4 = Duemilanove w/ ATMega328P pin assignment // 5 = Gen6 thats from the config.h file and at the end off option you get the following lines #ifndef MOTHERBOARD #define MOTHERBOARD 33 < here where you make that selection #endifby jinx - General
no what you done not rightby jinx - General
noted Traumflug, most admit I rarely view the tronic section " should do.by jinx - General
scroll down to ramps section #if MOTHERBOARD == 3 || MOTHERBOARD == 33 || MOTHERBOARD == 34 || MOTHERBOARD == 77 #define KNOWN_BOARD 33 //////////////////FIX THIS////////////// //#ifndef __AVR_ATmega1280__ #ifndef __AVR_ATmega2560__ #error Oops! Make sure you have 'Arduino Mega' selected from the 'Tools -> Boards' menu. #endif //#endif // uncomment one of the following lines for RAMPSby jinx - General
disconnect the lcd till you get the firmware sorted right now focus on the pin.h set that for rampsby jinx - General
just upload the new firmware there's no need to reset,,by jinx - General
Quote12v 400w power supply connected to mega2560 You mean connected to the RAMPS 2 connectors right Post yr config.h. the first line that should have changed is the board followed by thermistor then the endstops... Have you made the relevant changes in pins.h file.by jinx - General
Motor Drivers could be getting hot and shuting down,,,I have/had an issue around the plug socket in another room if its switched on causes the PC to stop communicating with the printer. What about the USB port you got a sound connection, give the cable a knock to test that.by jinx - General
Not a lot info to go on, with fault finding, are you p owering the arduino through the ramps board if so is the D1 " diode" installed.by jinx - General
couple off pics of the heatbed and ramps " solder side" assuming it is a ramp may help , quick test " once you checked the wiring for a hair short" wire it too D9 and use m106 s200 in pronteface if you get past 55c turn it off it proves the fet on D8 gone bad ,,either replace the ramps/fet or set the bed in firmware to use D9 in firmware this method would mean you have no fan!!.by jinx - Reprappers
Don't know about best but for its price am not grumbling, it does what it says on the tinby jinx - Reprappers
those sizes are a little larger than, what I seen, 6 M8×370mm Threaded rod 3 per side 4 M8×294mm Threaded rod front / rear 3 M8×440mm Threaded rod top / bottom 2 M8×210mm Threaded rod Z-leadscrew 1 M8×50mm Threaded rod bolt for X idler. but if thats what you got the bonus here is you be able to widen the frame to 310mm which would be an advantage if you set up a dual nozzle.by jinx - General
you have the right thermistor setting in firmware,by jinx - Reprappers
demongimp it maybe useful to post your config.h and pins .h files on github ,by jinx - General
ello, goldernmongoose ! QuoteI get it. Still, it's not that complicated. Half the people that figure out this stuff have aspergers syndrome and treat people like crap. Like a dozen or so people on this forum that I could name, but I wont. what crap is that to write on a newbie's thread " if thats how you feel then maybe you should start you own thread.by jinx - General
PLA loves hotglue, stuck enough parts together to know the two made for each other, after that 30min epoxyby jinx - General
if no one makes a better offer I do it for you, £10 + postage ... personally I don't like your choice for the bed.. " this is a pricey option but its worth it " But you have to change the y motor mount to . to avoid the motor hitting the smooth bars.. so PM as last resort I'II be happy to print the parts for you. You haven't said which x carriage you wanted the link to the other is what Iby jinx - Reprappers
Hi, has anyone offered to print the parts for you yet, X carriage:by jinx - Reprappers
