hi, Quoteso when this happened did it damage the hot end in any way? near impossible to damage the E3D " have to go out your way". by not allowing it cool down before turning the printer can be a real ball ache to remove the filament due to swelling created. QuoteIf you didn't leave the fan on for cool down could it melt the plastic that the hot end attaches to? I use the gregs reloadedby jinx - General
hi, Quotejerms. Jinx, on the 'E3D now finally shipping' thread about who installed the hot end then it got clogged after a little use. the fact that is requires the fan concerns me a bit the issue i had with the "E3D hotend" was I didn't allow it to cool down before switching off. the fan, which allowed the filament to swell, jerms. you cant go wrong with it get the .25 nozzle for fine priby jinx - General
Hi millerii, Forgive my humour, the nozzle looks like it not in propley, redo that part till it flush with the heater block. I did an experiment the other month using a fan duct for the hot end ,because like you I couldn't get it to fit at first, the heat crept up the barrel caused the filament to Swell and jam. Think it something to be aware off.by jinx - General
Hi, Print this page vase for family and friends and Christmas is covered, just the other day I needed some hinges looked all over the house for some,, then the penny dropped just print them.by jinx - Reprappers
am about too play with it but ,straight off the bat, it doesn't come with the jumpers for the micro stepping.by jinx - General
now that I worked the gremlins out off my printer, this hotend is brilliant preforms better than my expectations and thanks to Smartroad & sanjay for pointing out the cooling issue,, there's no turning back><by jinx - General
I have two J head mkV brilliant results, the only time it jammed was when I tightened the nut in the peek too much crushed the inner tube. One other issue I had that made it appear like a jam, was the hobbed bolt wasn't catching the filament properly.by jinx - Reprappers
did he not claim to be a law students, then pulls a disrespecting act, like they done defcad become true scum too the community. that's my viewby jinx - General
nice got a pic,,, Am guessing you shorted the leads to the hotendby jinx - General Mendel Topics
Tom is that safe, you powering the arduino from the ramps and using the cable to communicate with the arduino which also wants to power the arduino isn't that bad..by jinx - General
hi, well am not an happy chap got the 1.75 installed extruded at little last night this morning the whole thing jammed up gonna require me stripping it the whole carriage too get at this hotend ok striped the carriage down this is what I believe happened: once I turned the printer off straight after extruding some filament for the night heat crept up the heat sink expanded the filamby jinx - General
Hi, I think you making a wise call starting withth I2. "Fun to build" reprap wiki has the guide, Gary guide is good as well a good guide on you tube www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeHK80jcqzMby jinx - General
not knowing which board you using makes it tricky to suggest, but am using the ramps 1.3 and have the following lines set as: // The pullups are needed if you directly connect a mechanical endswitch between the signal and ground pins. const bool X_ENDSTOPS_INVERTING = false; // set to true to invert the logic of the endstops. const bool Y_ENDSTOPS_INVERTING = false; // set to true to inverby jinx - General

tell me again what's this to do with 3D printing , you spamming shit, go die in a hole,,by jinx - General
hi, where O where,, the heat bed a major concern you got the correct settings in firmware?? tighten the grub screws on the pulleys seems reasonable, then check the current on the stepper drivers.by jinx - Reprappers
hi, got to step back here, PLA prints very happy at 185,, your hotend looks a bit close the heatbed judging by the first layer smudge " some like it that way". looking over your config.H file you commented the min Z endstop out is that right ?. just that I thought the min Z home is where the hotend is just above the print plate?. how have you calibrated your E steps and your Z, may I sugby jinx - General
" enterprise what we got back didn't live long, thank god" hi, please post some stats, layer height, extruder temp, printing speed, etc., etc. which firmware you using, can you post your configuration. H file.by jinx - General
hi, I had this issue, and I reamed the idle X axial and pushed the rods through works ok for, be sure NOT TO have the holes too lose, but am about too print Improved X ends for Prusa with clamped rods http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18384by jinx - General Mendel Topics

hi Am a ramps 1.3 " DIY kit "fan, my biggest problem with Rambo board if you lose," destroy" one off the stepper driver the whole board is useless UNLES you A smd solder savvy. As for the frame you cant go wrong with that supplier I use him when ever possible, not knowing which part of the woods you live in maybe helpful. have fun.lby jinx - General Mendel Topics
hi, for me I was on a winner twisted vase in her favourite colour " and a rose for good measure ", she watched it being printed , now I just completed my second prusa i2. jinx PS rose wasn't printed " shocker "by jinx - General
cubes those damn 20 mm cubes, reason too warm up the printer before what I actually wont to print, and get the filament flowing, and I do it every time I change colour.to clear out the last colour.by jinx - General
hi, Traumflug " Not that my opinion counts here " you said it,, prusajr given this community a damn sight more than you I believe and your comment weren't welcomed or justified the hotend is a one of the most important part of the printer, so show some respect next time. jinxby jinx - General
hi, Could you please post a pic of your ramps,, are the FETS in their correct installation,by jinx - General
I maybe over simplifying things here but cant you just rotate the connector to the stepper 180 for that axisby jinx - General
