Welcome I cant help with the openscad stuff but for electronics I would recommend Its a bit expensive but you get a lot of stuff (some you wont need but can resell) and is very good qualityby lazzymonk - General

Is the list the part you did get, or the parts you think you should have? If it is the parts you have then i dont think you need more bar clamps as you have 4 Y bar clamps and 4 Z rod mounts which if i am not mistaken is all you need.by lazzymonk - General Mendel Topics

Hi all My printer is printing loverly as lower speed (30mm/s), but when I speed it up a bit(45mm/s) i get consistant waves in after corners. I think it is something to do with acceleration as it goes away as the nozzle gets away from a corner. I have attached an image that shows what I mean. Everything is calibrated, marlin firmware, any advice would be appreciated.by lazzymonk - General

have you got the correct motherboard selected in the firmware config? It could be trying to read the wrong input. for ramps you should have it set to #define MOTHERBOARD 33 at about line 48by lazzymonk - RAMPS Electronics

I had the same problem. I got arround it by adding a resistor, 4k7 I think it was ( can check when i get home if needed ) on the the ps_on wire. Works faultlessly now.by lazzymonk - RAMPS Electronics

I think atx supplies are a good choice, they have plenty of power, put out 5v even when off and are easily controlled. Plus no exposed mains.by lazzymonk - General

mine isnt soldered. it is just installed in the screw terminal on my ramps board where the fan connects. A 1uf seems to work, but have tried bigger to with success.by lazzymonk - RAMPS Electronics

I had to put a small capacitor across my fan terminals to get my fans working. Otherwise they just hum unless at full powerby lazzymonk - RAMPS Electronics

I think thermistortables.h is the ideal way to go then. Either edit the relevant list of values, or define a new one. Then just do your calculation for each value and you will get the result you want.by lazzymonk - Firmware - mainstream and related support

Have you selected the correct thermistor in Configuration.h about line 80 i think. there are a few to choose from. Maybe just try them see if any are close. if not thermistortables.h will let you change the values that the thermistors read.by lazzymonk - Firmware - mainstream and related support

I had a similar problem with my machine when I was running 2 motors from one driver, I couldn't move more than 1-2mm/s without problems. So try reducing federate to 1mm/s and see what happens. Another option is to drive the second motor from the RAMPS 5 driver if you have a driver installed, I did it this way in the end and can now do 40mm/s and never had a problem since. There are many factors to print times and very machine will be different. I can print a 1cm3 cube in about 6 minutes, or 30 both of acceptable quality.by lazzymonk - General
