Well you should post a picture of the whole board and a detail of the damaged part.
Also some details about your aptitudes could help - for instance, can you solder ?
Also for future reference on those forums to get better odds of getting useful answers :
- start a new topic so that there is a precisely detailing title to your thread.
- post in the appropriate subforum - I know it can de somewh

Oh by the way you can run both the Z motors on a single driver output. So assuming that Ramp stepper expander works, you could do it with a Ramps.

From what I read here :
You need a Duet, Azteeg X3 Pro, or RADDS to achieve 5 extruders.
I cannot guarantee that wiki page information is exact and exhaustive, but that's a start...

Yes this is an artifact of the printing technology, as the filament is deposited being stretched, those forces tend to bring it toward the inside of "holes".
See the excellent blog post from nophead on that subject for more details :
You have multiple workarounds :
- Adapt your 3d models by trials and measurements.
- For somewhat small circular holes, you can use the "polyholes" method descr

Why doesn't the customer service rep provide instructions for the test ? He supposedly know that machine better than most of us around here.

By pausing the print, manually changing the filament without moving the head, then continuing. Tricky !

malio77, it is considered spamming to cross post in different sections of the forums. Please don't do that.
I have merged all the replies here and deleted your extra copies of that topic.

I live in the UK where food standards are much higher. In fact, it is illegal to sell pet food that isn't safe for human consumption in this country.
Hahaha. I hope your regulating bodies for food safety are better than ours! I doubt they worry too much about pets except for maybe all the Muslim's goats. (sarcasm to the max) I pity you guys.

It shouldn't change the bed adhesion if you print on the other side, and help heat distribution as you said.
Just watch out not to short some traces of your heating bed PCB with the copper.
Also just found Wikipedia about the "Novolac" and other phenolic resins :
On the other hand Wikipedia page on G10 seems to imply it's different from FR-4 after all.
I'm still somewhat confused, but I think

There is some confusion for me in the naming of those products...
From what I gather :
Phenolite and Garolite are brand names.
Phenolic seems to name to the resin part of those compounds.
FR4 is a type of board made from resin impregnated glass cloth laminates.
G10 is the grade of FR4 (there are others like G9 G7 G5 etc).
I believe the important part for the 3d prints adhesion is the resi

Been searching a bit around...
This is what I use. They say it is a "G10-FR4 fiberglass-epoxy laminate", so seems to contain phenolics, epoxy AND fiber glass.

I'll have a look at home if there is any reference on the boards.
The amazon product was labelled FingerTech Robotics Garolite Sheet 1/16" x 8x10" but that order dates back from 2013 so it's no longer available.

I have been using something - that I believe is very similar - called "Garolite" for a few years : )
You can buy some from Amazon.com
My printing surface sandwich is :
Garolite plate
Glass plate (for rigidity)
PCB heatbed
Insulation
ABS sticks very well to that when the bed is heating. When cooled down the part usually detach itself - or by flexing the plate a bit.
For large PLA parts I s
