Thanks Traumflug! I actually added one on the relay coil circuit just for safety. I think I need to spend more time on the WIKI - LOL The SevenSwitch uses a more pretty design and of course a MOSFET so no click-clack. I'm going over your build guide now, for education! Though I do enjoy re-inventing the wheel! Thanks Again, -Mikeby brandxtc - Sanguino(lolu)
Hey everyone. I started getting uncomfortable with the mosfet and traces running my heat-bed on my Sanguinololu. So I made a small relay board to do the heavy lifting. I have a couple of questions however. I did a good hour long print last night. As expected it clicked on and off during heating. I checked my mosfet at the end of the print and it was cool to the touch, YAY. I've read a bit aby brandxtc - Sanguino(lolu)
Thanks Dust! Working with exposed boards is always fun... it's like working with a cobra. I still haven't tried to fix it. Though this weekend I plan to do some in depth Troubleshooting. I'm going to trace the 5V and replace as needed.by brandxtc - Sanguino(lolu)
Hey all, This will be one of my first posts. I've had my rep-rap running for over a year. Loving every second of it. I'm using it to prototype new products at work even. I decided to do a quick breakdown, clean and rebuild to just keep it clean. I have my sanguinololu sitting below one of my z carriages, in removing the x motor, i dropped a nut onto my sanguinololu.
