Hi, I used to work for a company where our electronics got occasionally drenched in salt water. What we did was to rinse thoroughly with lots of distilled water and then dry immediately after. If you don't let the water sit there for a longer period you won't get any corrosion to speak of. I suggest using a soft brush an rinse until you get no foam/bubbles. A hair dryer will work fine for gettinby Janne_E - Sanguino(lolu)
Ok, forget about the above. Me being an Arduino-agnostic didn't really know how the bootloader works. When AVRdude says "I'm done" I didn't bother looking further into what was done. Most of the cases it was a timeout as I didn't know when or how long the bootloader was available after reset. The LED doesn't flash so I guess I got it right by sheer luck a couple of times but not when I enabled thby Janne_E - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi, I am just about to start using my newly built mini Kossel. I use a Melzi board with Marlin FW. My problem is that the heatbed temp is zero. If I switch the hot-end sensor and the bed-sensor I can verify that the sensor itself works fine. I have also followed the signal to the pin of the ATMEGA1284 and no problems there. The voltage at the two sensor inputs are the same so there are no shortsby Janne_E - Sanguino(lolu)
