Need help on calibrating..by ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
I actually got mine to work yesterday evening. I downloaded one last bootloader at 11:15 pm and the motors and the end stops are working great now. I even managed to calibrate it a bit, but it needs some more tempering with.by ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
Problem solved.. Here is the final resolution: 1. Make sure that you have installed the propper driver - I have been struggling several days on Windows 7 and 8.1.. My pc recognized the device as standard usb device and this is it. I am able to upload firmware, but no bootloader. The solution was to use old USBasp programmer on XP machine. 2. Make sure that you have the correct bootloader for yourby ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
Ok.. Here is the update from the tests - Y axis works great except the end stop (it doesn't seem to work) X axis works only in one direction + end stop doesn't work Z axis works great except the end stop I need to check if this is from the sprinter or the connections. PS. I think i found the issue: Fuse Settings The fuses for the atmel chip must be changed from the default factory settings toby ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
Ok i have some progress on this.. I have this old USBasp programmer that is compatible with the 1284p chip. I managed to burn the bootloader on virtual XP machine since on win 8.1 the driver is not compatible for the USBasp.. So i managed to burn the bootloader and uploaded the sprinter scetch. Now i just have to test.by ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
Yeah i have everything correct. I think i just have the wrong driver installed on the pc.. Unfortunately for Windows 8.1 i am not sure if there is proper driver. I might end up buying Pololu AVR..by ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
I think i have the wrong driver.. Everywhere i read it says "Make sure your port says Arduino Uno (COMX)" etc. But mine just says USB Serial Port COM3 Check that the auto reset jumper is in place (between stepper drivers and Large chip) It is in place Check that you have your sanguinololu 1.3a plugged into the computer via usb. It is plugged Check you have the correct serial port (for the Sangby ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi, Using Sanguinololu 1.3a and Arduino 1.0.1 with Arduino as ISP i get "avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00".. Please helpby ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi, i assembled my 3d printer. I am using Sanguino 1.3a. I think i programmed it properly. I connected everything to it. The heat bed and the extruder hotend are heating. The stop switchs are working as well because when i switch them in one direction the motors stop. I am using Pronterface to do my tests. The movement however is not that good.. When i try to move any of the motors they seem to tby ts87 - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
I have Sanguino 1.3a and next to the motor connectors there are 3 places for separate 12V charge. What do you think, should i give it a try?by ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
I did the test with the end stops and it works ok now I guess the only thing left is to assemble the whole thing, calibrate and start printingby ts87 - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Thank you. As i said i am new in this, but i appritiate the help I will post the result when i test.by ts87 - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Thank you for the answer. I actually have not connected the 3 endstop switches yet. I was just testing the board with different components, but the switches i have not tested yet. If i understand you properly i should connect them and proceed the testing when everything is connected.by ts87 - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Hi all so i am building a 3d printer of my own. So far i have Sanguinololu 1.3a and extruder with 1 stepper motor. I think i programmed the chip on the board properly. When i test the heat bed and extruder temperatures i am able to reach them and the board is controling this temp. When i connect the stepper motor to the board i see behaviour that concerns me. What happens is that i can move theby ts87 - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Update. I am trying to burn the bootloared but keep receiving: This report would have more information with "Show verbose output during compilation" enabled in File > Preferences. Hi, I am having the same issue.. Using Windows 8.1 and another machine with Windows 7 i keep getting avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00 I followed all instructions. I am using Arduino 1.0.5 -r2 i have downloaded the sanguinololu software. When i connect the board to the usb i can see it in the device manager listed as "USB Serial Port (COM4)" and in Arduino i see it. I have selectby ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi, I just received the motherboard today, i had ordered it from RepRapWorld. I am connecting it to the USB, but it does not recognize it. It just says FT232R USB UART. I tried to update the drivers, but couldn't find any. Actually this is my very first experience in this kind of work so i am no very familiar with the software if someone can point me to the correct drivers for this motherboard thby ts87 - Sanguino(lolu)
