Snap em up while they are cheap, wont be long before we see the end of pound shops, do these printed ones have inbuilt torque protection, ie it breaks Nasa should have done a flying saucer, planetary version, that would be cool.

are you using 3 or 4 screws, either way 1.5 is about half your extrusion diam with a little squish, but the good thing is when its working you can forget about it & worry about something else, I start leveling my printer touching the bed, some z offset seems to raise things a little, but sometimes can be too close or too far, but either way I think it remembers where it was on its last jog

So many people taken up the experimental vax, only to be told after they started that they should mix it with another, and then get another booster, then along comes the multivarient booster they tell you to give that a go, .....but omicron comes along and they suggest you get that to really round off that leaky protection....with all this science coursing through your veins why so worried about

Farmbot goes back some way, I thought it was a bit daft, especially when humans are cheaper(though maybe not for long), weather proofing & maintenance could be a pain. I think a smaller mobile rover would be better than some frame, perhaps one that pulls different trailers, you would think for the most time the, robot wouldnt have much to do after planting seeds(though it's a pity that task c

I thought the 3D Printer might see more use in lockdown, but there wasnt much I wanted to build & the world doesnt need much of what gets produced, & there was nothing I needed, so the printer sat there for at least a year with the roll exposed. No worries, They sure make a lot of concrete in china & a human produces 5ton of co2 in a normal lifetime...maybe someday soon our allotted time on the planet in human form will be cut in half, sure will help with global warming, I hear there is already some new method of killing off the old & fat & ill people reported to have started in China, it may not be the final solution but it'

@ golfwolf Not sure if old bones are as good as new ones for making glue maybe still good as a filler, perhaps strong & light cross members could be carved, but after people have had allotted time in the ground they get "moved" dumped at sea? I suppose one could argue they become the property of the collective, for the benefit of the group. @VDX I'm not sure how deep you've looked into mate

Wondering if it's possible we might see some printers with exotic materials perhaps a mix of this special glue & some crushed bones? Hotend tips made from teeth? it was some recent posts got me worried about this becoming a realty in the not to distant future.

would you pay £500 for a used stratasys 1200es? filament looks a bit pricey, maybe the machine can be modded to take cheaper filaments, & different materials.
