I have one but have not mounted it up yet for use. Ive powered it up along with the LCD screen they sell though to update firmware and they seem to be ok. They do have some contention in the community though since they are not open source. Smoothieware will also not support users of the board too so your only support options are other users and the makers(who are quite unresponsive).by GearheadRed - General
Going to poke in here and give my info on the Flex3Drive. I did a similar review on the PrintBite a while back and have been meaning to write one here as well. I have been using the Flex3Drive for some time now and started using the original generic version after seeing some chit chat in the reprap irc channel. It looked like a good concept at the time and I took the risk based on the limited usby GearheadRed - General
You would want to have something that would monitor the bed temp until it got below say ~30c. Then have it kick off a timer to wait say 5 minutes just to be safe, but yea I could see something like an arm or a "bulldozer" attached to something like a servo that would push the print off the bed working pretty well. You probably wouldnt want to do any prime loops or the likes unless your arm is morby GearheadRed - General
I might chime in here. Possibly a bit TLDR but I have been using the PrintBite surface since it was beta and have even tested some of the early on lower quality material prior to the high quality stuff Mutley3D is offering here. This stuff for lack of better words is just awesome. For fair record I did buy all the materials, this is not some sort of crappy paid testimonial or some junk like that.by GearheadRed - General

Sorry all for the delay in posting back to this thread, I became far too destracted trying to build the actual machine. The parts from BusyBotz.com came in very quickly, actually a day or so ahead of the actual tracking delivery date. They even came with a complementary mint Im including the url to my build album for your own review of the parts here however so far I have been very satified wiby GearheadRed - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
I have sourced BusyBotz to print the parts. Thanks to everyone for looking. I will post a reply with some pics of the finished parts once I have received them likely some time mid-end of next week. Thus far BusyBotz has been very quick to respond to any/all questions and quite detailed in responses. GearheadRedby GearheadRed - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
Looking to have parts printed for an Adapto build (http://reprap.org/wiki/Adapto) Edit: Cleaned up the post and added more details/attached files. Determined an actual estimate for cost of printing. I have attached a ZIP file including the STL files for all the parts I need printed, and a readme.txt that shows how many of each file to print, it should total up to be 29 pieces across 17 files.by GearheadRed - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
