That's what I thought, because we don't know what pins are registered to what address, unless they just cloned another common board. Thanks @gloomandy, I'll just replace it with a SKR Pro 1.2.by DeltaDroid - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
Is there any chance this would work on Mingda's STM32F4 board in their D2 and D3 models? Is there any risk of frying things if I flash this for testing? I know to keep my finger on the power switch.by DeltaDroid - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
I'm looking to get some parts for a delta printer printed in black ABS, preferably by someone in Canada. I just need someone with a well calibrated printer that prints reasonably precise X, Y & Z dimensions.by DeltaDroid - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
As you push the filament through do you see any fluctuation in the temperature readings? Did you run the PID tuning? Heatsink should definitely not be hot as David stated above. Does the bowden tube run all the way through the heat break and down to the nozzle or just to the top of the heat break (which should also be countersunk)? I had clones that were like this and they were junk. The 3mm ODby DeltaDroid - Printing
If the extruder stepper is getting hot it can only mean one of 3 things which I would test in this order: 1) Too much current, turn down trim pot in very small steps and test. I had this issue when I built my first 3d printer. Using a multimeter or ohm meter with micro-clips makes the process very easy. 2) Faulty stepper driver. Try swapping the extruder stepper driver with one of the other stby DeltaDroid - Printing
I use OpenBuilds v-slot as well Andy and with a little tension added your carriage trucks fit nice and snug for me. The slot may be deeper but the profile is the same or very close. It's possible his parts were a little oversized though. I had issues with tolerance (not bored deep enough) on a lot of the mini v-wheels and have since switched to solid v-wheels. It may just have been my supplier uby DeltaDroid - Delta Machines
Well since nobody wants to answer this, I'll give it a shot. G29 has proven to be inconsistent for most people. Most (myself included) just do the standard G30 A calibration and then call it a day, until the printer is moved or there's a considerable change in temperature. I keep the room where my printer resides between 18° to 24° C and have never had an issue with prints or had to recalibrate (by DeltaDroid - Delta Machines
Even though most are moving towards magnetic and other types of joints, I figured some of you may find this useful starting out. For the linear actuator, I just took the original Kossel carriage truck created by Steve Graber, modified by brandonh, and tweaked it to work with OpenBuilds 2020 V-Slot Extrusion and their Mini V Wheels. I made 2 different versions, one with the nut traps on the carriaby DeltaDroid - Delta Machines
Hi Andy, is there any chance you or anyone else who's reading this could modify this Rostock mini carriage to mount flush on this V Wheel Carriage from your Cherry Pi II? Here are the CAD files for the Rostock carriage. Cheers! Neilby DeltaDroid - Delta Machines
