I am in the same situation as you all of my heabeds look like potatoe chips.I need something that is relatively flat in a 12 x 8 size or 12.5 x 8.5.I was looking into tool plate with a silicone heating pad which seems to be popular but I have been told due to the heat the adhesive on the pad gives out and they start sagging.by siblues - Mechanics
I sort of have one working at the moment but the part fan is another story.I am looking for a 2 fan set up one for the part cooling and one fopr the E3D V6 heatbreak.by siblues - Hello. I need a something designed. For money.

I just finished rewiring my machine and it has been printing fine for a day or two and it started displaying this message.I also rewired the motor and it is still doing it with the new wiring harness and every drive is doing it except the extruder.I even tried changing the firmware to a rc release and upping the current to the motors with no luck Warning: motor phase A may be disconnected reportby siblues - Duet

I just wanted to see if anyone would be kind enough to specify the bolt hole spacing on the original MK3 nuts?I am under the impression they are not the same as all of the knock off brass nuts floating around online.I can't seem to find any online suppliers for those nuts specifically they tend to list all the MK series together.I am trying to use a few thingiverse files for the MK3 on a custom bby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
I am in need of a x carriage/mount for a bondtech BMG and BLTouch sensor.I have looked around everywhere with no luck. There are quite a dew with either the BlTouch mount missing or the X carriage is too deep and will hit the frame. The X carriage needs to be able to zip tie the bearings in place so that it will not hit the frame. There are two different mounts on thingiverse that I like but they neby siblues - Hello. I am in the process of upgrading my cartesian style printer from knock off ramps board to a Duet WiFi.I have a cheap power supply that came with the printer and it seems to work pretty well but I am considering the ATX for simplicity and the ability to turn the printer on and off remotely with the simple use of a wire.I had a few questions on what size ATX would be good and whether or not a fullby siblues - General
Just to be clear I purchased a MKS board and a Smoothie and I am using the MKS as a test rig so I don't destroy a 100+ dollar board.I am very new to all of this and I rather lose 30 bucks than 150 bucks.I just wanted to point that out.I am at my breaking point with these boards and am thinking about buying a Duet wifi in the next few days.I am going to try disabling the do home in the leveling stby siblues - Smoothie
Yes I have checked the BLTouch sensor many times it is working perfectly and so is the printer.Ijust can't seem to get the G32 to work.I think I need to use the g codes in a specific order and I am not sure how that is done.I just wired up the printer and sensor and got everything working correctly.I am using endstops on all the axis. This is how i try to use the BLTouch on my printer.I firs manuaby siblues - Smoothie
Anyone have any ideas what this could be?by siblues - Smoothie
I am trying to figure out how to get my BLTouch working on my Smoothieboard and can't seem to figure it out.I have the entire printer working as it should and the BLTouch works just fine so I know the wiring and the config are most likely not the issue.I have been printing for a while with a chinese printer kit.I recently built a new printer from scratch and wanted to use a better board with at tby siblues - Smoothie
Hello, I just wanted to ask where is everyone buying their frames?I had ordered a frame from Orballo but had to cancel my order. They have horrible customer service and they can't tell me when my order will ship.I tried contacting HTA3D but they haven't answered any of my emails and it has been over two weeks.I have all of my parts here for the build but no frame.by siblues - Projekte
I have a few questions regarding the auto levelling feature on my Zonestar P802NR2.I have had the printer working for months now but the auto level never worked for me.I can start the process of levelling the bed but what it actually does is do the first sensor to bed measurement then it raises the extruder until it keeps bumping into the top of the printer frame. It only does it once and then I hby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
I had a quick question regarding spool placement.I was able to print perfectly with the spool pretty much in any position as long as the filament had a pretty straight route tp to the printer and a long as it wasn't putting too much stress on where it enters the top.I now am having really bad issues where if I don't sit there and give it slack when it starts getting close to where it needs to pulby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
The speed settings are what Zonestar supplied out of the box.Print speed is 60 mm/s and travel speed is 120 mm/s.I didn't want to touch those since I was unsure if that was something I wanted to change before having a better knowledge of what is going on.I will take some advice from anyone who has much more experience than me and just keep the original settings marked down somewhere in case I neeby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
Well that's why I am asking. Could this be a bed to nozzle spacing problem or a settings issue. That is only like my 5 or 6 print so I am lost and trying to read as much as I can to get a better grasp of what to do?Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome with open arms?by siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
I am getting pretty consistent prints now but I have a few questions regarding the surface finish on the prints. What would be the setting that most affects the finish on the surface? Here are a few pics of my last print and are any of you guys running a fan on the board to keep it cool.I don't even know if that is a real issue and are you just wiring it up to constant so it is always running?Thankby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
They are all 60mm more or less I need to find my calipers to get a precise measurement. They seem to be really close though. Are the estimated times in Cura and Pronterface usually close to the real times?by siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
Here are a couple of pics of that test print you gave me.The print isn't great and I am guessing the skirt at the bottom can be enabled or disabled in Pronterface? The print looks ok to me with some issues with the characters on the ends of the legs.Let me know what you think?I was going to use the factory settings but they had the extruder temp for PLA at 180 so I bumped it to 195 and I just postby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
Well with a lot of help from a good friend it's up and running.I just wanted to ask about leveling the bed.I have seen a few videos on everyones own version of the right way to do it.I just have one question regarding the sensor on the extruder. The sensor comes in contact with the bed before the actual nozzle.I can adjust the sensor up and down but it will take a little dissasembly to get to oneby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
I also have a problem.I am trying to print that test print you were nice enough to help me with and the nozzle keeps hitting the bed.I have never used one of these so I am lost on what to do.I have everything set up and everything is powering up and seems to be working as it should but as soon as I try to print anything the nozzle just drops on to the bed?by siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
I am going to be printing with PLA and maybe PETG but I have a lot of stuff to get done before I start thinking about that.I saved that test print and thanks for that.I will try to get the printer running as smoothly as possible and I will check back in here if I have any issues.Which I am sure I will.by siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
Thanks a lot.I was already leaning in that direction and the only reason I even mentioned Kisslicer is because the manufacturer recommended it and I tend to try to keep things as simple as possible in the beginning. What would be some of the most common things to worry about with this printer to start off with.Does it have any design flaws that can cause a first timer like me issues?I have stockedby siblues - Prusa i3 and variants
