Where did you get your RADDS board from? I did a quick search but can't find anything.

Seems excessive. If the only benefits are increased insulation and fire prevention, it doesn't seem worth it. At least cost wise.

Im sure it would a nightmare to develop the firmware, but could you use something like a robotic arm?
There are already those large industrial size robotic arm printers, do I dont see why (apart from firmware) it can't be implemented on a Reprap scale.

Try switching the extruder motor with either the X, Y, or Z motor and see if it will turn when you use the respective manual controls.
oh, and also double check to make sure you have it set up with the correct pins the your firmware.

It takes forever to 3D print something compared to plastic injection or metal injection molding. There's a company out there doing cheap aluminum molds for cheap plastic parts if that's what you are looking for?
Milled or 3d printed? I would think a 3D printed mold wouldnt be cost effective either depending on size.

Is it plugged into the correct spot on the board?
Are you connected to the printer in Pronterface?
Is your hot end heated up?
Can you move using the manual controls?
Is your current set properly?

I'd say purple glue stick on glass. You can pop it in the freezer when you're done and the part will pop free pretty easily.

Ill edit my post.
However, there have been 2 threads in the past 6 months selling a Replicator 2 where the seller refuses to use Paypal AND decreases the price after a very short amount of time (1 is not very long). I was nearly scammed in one of those threads (I paid the guy but did get my money back after jumping through some hoops) and another user was scammed on the other thread.

Looks nice! I like that everything is contained within the frame.
Are you going to put panels/enclosure on it?

What I'm printing will be fairly hollowed out... Imagine a large rally car roll cage in one piece. Then the corners of the frame will hold very strong magnets, and then the panels of the object will align with the object I'm producing... The panels will be thin balsawood, painted, and nothing to do with this printer....
Are you actually trying to print out a rally car cage? What

Im currently building a ~600 x 600 x 600mm CoreXY printer. Just some notes:
-You're going to need at least double your budget. I think I've already put ~1200 USD into mine and I haven't even gotten to the z-axis yet...
-NEMA 23s all the way. I'm building mine so that when the time comes I can upgrade to double stacks by simply swapping out the motors and probably the drivers.
-For boards, I'm

Tried changing the bed diameter and nothing changed.
Double checked the steps/mm and they were still good.

I've got a similar problem with a 100:1 nema 17. The motor will turn without the gearbox but with it on it won't budge. I even opened up the gearbox to try and clean it out but that didn't help.

Hmmm. Didn't think of that. I'll check that out first. Its seems highly probable.

Yea it taps the center then moves towards one of the towers where it collides with the belt for around 30 sec.
I'll triple check all the measurements this weekend and try reducing the bed diameter.

Actually the resin is comparable in price to filament. But there are still advantages to both FDM and DLP.
What would be cool would be a laser SLA that moves the laser with an XY coordinate system. Then make the build plate interchangeable with a hot end and the laser with an FDM build plate. You could them switch back and forth.

Yea I know. Just thought I should put what board Im using in case it might be a factor.
Anyway, the gear box should be able to be turned by hand, right? Or am I getting my gear ratios backwards?

Why not just print rollers with a v shape for regular bearings?

Im trying to run the G30 A autocalibration but my effector keeps trying to go off my build plate.
I double checked all my delta measurements and they are correct. I'm stumped on what the problem could be.
Is there any special test or set up needed for the FSRs?
My config.h is attached.

I'm designing an extruder with a 100:1 NEMA 17 motor. When I went to test the motor yesterday it it wouldn't turn
I took the gear box off and the motor itself would turn, but the gearbox wouldnt. When I dismantled the gearbox, I didn't find anything unusual, so I'm kinda stumped why it won't turn.
I'm using a RAMPS board with DRV8825 drivers. Here's the motor I'm using:
Any ideas?

I am in the process of configuring the Smoothieware on for my CoreXY build. I am using an Azteeg x5.
I have noticed that when I use the manual controls in Repetier, my carriage moves diagonally whether I use the X or Y arrows. This tells me that it is only turning one of the motors.
Should both motors be turning so that the carriage moves along either the X or Y axis respective to the com

I am looking to have a product I am developing cast in aluminum. I want to have a prototype made via sand casting/lost PLA casting.
I have the 3d file ready to go. The approximate dimensions of the piece are 200mm x 200mm x 220mm.
If you are interested, shoot me a pm.

Job Shop: I need stuff made!
For a Chinese supplier I use robotdigg. One stop shop and haven't had any complaints yet. YYou do however need to order a decent amount to make it worthwhile due to shipping.
