LOL if you only take that part from the post then maybe yes but if you take a look at : I was wondering if these parts could be used to create a tiny 3d printer for high accuracy and portability. I was thinking it would also be cool to make little pocket versions of popular designs like a little hand held prusa, or a soda can Kossel Then imo he wants a 3d printer..... still not disagreeingby Weedz - Developers

why?? because then you can engrave stuff on little pieces of paper or wood? that has nothing to do with a 3d printer. Its like saying "a you want an apple? yes there is a difference between suppliers but even from the same supplier you can get a roll with different needs for settings.... So even from rigid.ink you can get a roll of PLA that is bad.by Weedz - General

First thing I noticed is that your probe is not hitting the back of the bed. its homing on the edge that's probably one explanation. Bedleveling is something you do once and not before every print normally. settings are saved in the EEPROM if you have enabled that.by Weedz - Printing

the retract speed is something some extruders will not like, you could set it to 22 wich is the maximum I could get out of my geared setup, if you have a direct drive then leave it. a fan could also help pointing at the print. that would be my first things to checkby Weedz - Printing

First time user make a simple choise prusa i3 or omerod ( prefer the prusa) tripod printers are no go for a first timer, its difficult to configure, more difficult to calibrate etc etc. Mendel 3 please no this design with the rods is outdated and has a lot of shortcomings. future fit for the long run maybe not but you can start printing with it and lateron replace for example the electronicsby Weedz - Reprappers

maybe your hobbed bolt is full of leftover material? or maybe youre starting to use other plastics. temperature in the room different. it could be a lot. you need to give some more information about your printer, the material you are printing etc a pic or vid maybe help to asses the problemby Weedz - Reprappers

First of all im not really active around this forum but I am in a couple of other 3d printing fora But what you are describing is a natural thing, in the beginning ppl like nophead and Richrap were king in the world of reprap. they where power users and had a lot of knowledge and experience (and still offcourse). my endstops are working fine now only the board only powers from usb..... and my fan doesnt work, but i dont know if this is a boardmallfunction or something wrong with the pins or whateverby Weedz - Controllers

Hello All i have bought a megatronics v2 from ebay, i think its a sainsmart as most of them are (correct me if im wrong). i had a problem with the endstops shutting the board down, i found a cure for that the connectors were labeled different then the original one. but i still have the problem that i cannot use the board without the usb cable, if i remove the jumper that supposed to make it rby Weedz - Controllers

Hi all So I have this question, I have set my marlin up to use autobed leveling/tramming. And I am using a inductive sensor for it. This works fine as a Z end stop. But for the autobedlevel function I need to use the sensors only for homing because otherwise the Z sensor would always get triggered before the nozzle wil reach the bed..... Ben wel benieuwd eigenlijk is een blauwe laserdiode helemaal niet zo geschikt als snijlaser, dan kom je dichter bij een CO2 laser..... Maar goed die prijzen zijn weer niet zo mals. Ben ook wel benieuwd waar je het beschermende material vandaan hebt gehaald. Mvg Wietseby Weedz - Algemeen

Interressant topic Zag dat je met kleur nogal wat kan spelen en toevallig zag ik dat je vrij hoge prijzen moet betalen tegen grotere hoeveleheden pellets. Richard Horner heft een direct extrude hotend gemaakt (heft ie neit afgemaakt) maar daar had hij lieve kleine flesjes met kleuren pellets dit izjn voor 25 euro goed geprijsd en verschillende kleuren in 1 packet. misschien heb je er wat aanby Weedz - Projecten

de extruder gooit er iets minder (heeel ietsje) plastic uit en je Z as gat 0.1mm minder omhoog. in principe probeerd de slicer de breedte van 1 los geprinte lijn hetzelde te houden behalve de hoogteby Weedz - Dutch User Group - Archive

Het hangt er wel vanaf wat voor materiaal je print.... PLA print ik ook op glas met evt een PVA oplossing voor extra hechting, ook krijg je dan een wat dof uiterlijk op de onderkant. ABS kan gevaarlijk zijn met normaal glas, kan heeeel lang goed gaan, maar als het knapt.....by Weedz - Dutch User Group - Archive

I have had this one time, and it sounds like filament is clogged in the liner. this comes when having your hotend to hot or a bad line/part of filament. only way to fix it now is to take apart the extruder and unscrew the top screw in the hotend. Fire it up to 220degree and pull the liner out along with the filament. you will see its clogged there. insert new liner and you are good to go. Thisby Weedz - General
