You want to solder electrical components with you 3d filament printer, copy what's being done, and use solder paste, and an oven. using a type A machines 3d printer to dispense solder paste onto a circuitboard, instead of using a stencil.by A2 - General

What is a "FOSS tool chain solutions"? Every thing is pointing me to use a Smoothieboard on a multipurpose machine. Does Smoothieboard have a HDMI input, I can't find what type of video inputs it has? Smoothieboard: allows for Ethernet, drag-and-drop firmware, and exposing the USB port as both a serial port or mass storage device. A more efficient method was found by using a Staples(R) brand office shredder which was designed for the shredding of credit cards and compact discs. This proved to be much more time and energy efficient and avoided the use of water. A used shredder was found at a local Value Village for $24.99. RecycleBot v2.2, Michigan Tech. OP has described a coating, not a lubrication. There are Teflon impregnated aluminum rods. But a Teflon spray coating with steel ball bearings riding over it would fail very fast. It would also be hard to adjust for proper bearing tension, without the bearings slicing into the coating.by A2 - Mechanics

Why does the motor stall during no load testing? The motor needs inertia roughly equal to its own inertia to accelerate properly. Any resonances developed in the motor are at their worst in a no-load condition. What are the options for eliminating resonance? This would most likely happen with full step systems.
