No not the jumpers. If you use opto endstops, you have to invert the logic. This is what I learned. Was not in the comments in the config.h. I dont´t think your drivers are broken. Setting up a printer for the first time takes a lot of time, can be frustrating but you learn a lot. It took me one week to find all these little snags, but now it works perfect. I do not use Repetier and I don´t know yet how to home a delta exactly. Got a Mendelmax, use Marlin & Pronterface. I think it migth have something to do with the logic of endby Duesentrieb - Delta Machines

Great Design. Totally love it. Building a miture out of this and the 3DR simple, because I am useing 8mm rods. Extruder is already finished. Printing out parts and waiting for some to arrive. @bluescape: What do you mean by "it went crazy"? I did not print out this part yet, but I had a simpilar problem with another part where everything went fine, but at exactly the same line, everthing was shby Duesentrieb - Delta Machines

John, you are right. On a deltabot you want all the endstops to be in exact the same position, that´s correct. The problem is to build the printer that perfect. If one endstop is 1mm higher than the others, the plane in which the printer operates is not parallel to the printbed. It is tilted. So when you print the first layer on one side the distance is correct and the print is perfect there, bby Duesentrieb - Delta Machines

Hi John, I like your idea very much. I am thinking about building a delta for a loger time. At that time Rostock did not exist. But I decided to do my own construction first. It´s half finished. It will be completely closed, fast and hopefully accurate. Minimum number of printed parts, industrial grade parts instead. Will be something between a RepRap and an industrial grade printer. Moin, weiß aus eigener leidvoller Erfahrung, dass Gleitlager und auch Linearlager absolut exakt ausgerichtet sein müssen um gut zu laufen. Hab vor 8 Jahren im Praktikum eine kleine CNC Mechanik bauen wollen. Hatte das alles exakt vermessen und auf einer CNC Bohrmaschine gebohrt. Leider nicht in einer Aufspannung. Das war ein Fehler. Stimmte nachher um wenige Zehntel nicht. Hatte zur Folge, dassby Duesentrieb - Neue Ideen - Archiv
