I may be a little off topic, but maybe we can take some ideas from this new KS low cost Delta printerby TBog - Delta Machines
Quotepjoyce42 I will probably get a QU-BD OneUP [...] then I will probably start working on a GUS, or Lisa Simpson. The max travel for the OneUp is approximately 100x100x125mm while the TwoUP has 175x175x125mm. You will need to build a smaller GUS if u get the OneUP. I don't think it's a small task to downsize a printer... I'm not sure about LISA but the arms look the same length as the Simpsonby TBog - Delta Machines
usually the delta has "arms" on rods. This printer has them fixed.by TBog - Delta Machines
Can't wait for the day when you will start shipping beta Simpson.by TBog - Delta Machines

I'm curious what rewards you will put on the Kickstarter campaign. I pledged for a couple of projects and almost all had key chains, t shirts, and signed / personalised rewards. Make sure you know how the pledge system works because you can't edit or delete rewards after someone has pledged on them.by TBog - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
It there IS a static change problem the simple solution is to ground the printer. It's not a major change.by TBog - Delta Machines
Wish I was there. Can't make it because the distance is too great. Any1 able to take some photos and post them?by TBog - Delta Machines
I suppose a dedicated slicer will bring a lot of speed. ATM I think the slicer used is for a cartesian printer.by TBog - Delta Machines
@bluscape why don't you take part in the beta testing? as far as I know there are still some open slots. Nicholas will post the parts when they are finished ( when he will begin building the beta machines )by TBog - Delta Machines
wow, it looks incredible! can't wait to build it. I'm gonna take a week off work to enjoy this build.by TBog - Delta Machines
> Hence the motors are in the center. Why not have the motors at the next "leg" to maximize the length d?by TBog - Delta Machines
I'd like the xy arms more if they used the same printed parts. I was thinking one arm should be rotated 180 deg on the z axis (upside down)by TBog - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms

I think 3 might suffer in the 90 degree position from the pole misalignment. I think you areby TBog - Delta Machines
Will one still be able to mount Wally on a wall with the steppers on the back? I like the wire management.by TBog - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
