Hexagon Hotend 3.0mm with New Spool ABS - 11 years ago
Up for sale is my spare Hexagon Hotend that uses 3.0mm filament. Includes everything pictured. The hotend has seen very little use. You will need a new thermistor and wiring for the heating coil(had to use on my current printer). Also included is a brand new roll of 3.0mm Push Plastic ABS White. Both together new is 100. Yes reading is fundamental but from the pages I have read I have not really seen a "yes" or "no" if the kit is worth it. But maybe I missed it. I did have a member pm me that they are capable of a 200x280 print area but they failed to say if it was on a stock frame and I was curious if anyone had a similar setup.by jprochnow - Delta Machines

So what is the general concensus on this kit. I'm debating on this and also the seemecnc rostock max v2? What is the biggest width wise this can print? I'm guessing the longest arms are 288? What size print area would that get me?by jprochnow - Delta Machines

Up for sale is my used MakerFarm i3v 12" 3d printer. Capable of printing 12x12x13.5". Purchased in March of this year. I have only ran 1 spool of filament through it. Great printer but I just do use it enough to keep it. Comes with 2 rolls of 3.0 ABS filament. It presently has a Hexagon all metal 0.4mm hotend installed and a Meanwell 12v power supply(not a Chinese knockoff). Also included is a seby jprochnow - For Sale

What seems to be the problem with it? It really is cheaper than sourrcing your own parts. Even if you replace the weak motors and add the flange bearings and maybe a real e3d hotend it would be a great unit for the money.by jprochnow - Delta Machines

This was a project that I regret have no time for but I put lots of care into it and didnt spare expense at all. Start with what is missing boroscilicate glass, extruder, adurino board, some screws, and motors as well as a fan.. Otherwise all the rod is tight tolerance stainless, threaded rod is all stainless nuts and washers are as well. Frame is a Prusa I3 Galaxy black . Which is pretty hard toby jprochnow - For Sale

Up for sale is a Makerfarm i3v kit that I received 2 weeks ago and finished the build 2 nights ago. The printer is completely setup and ready to go. Has the stronger stepper motors, ramps 1.4, endstops, hexagon 1.75 with 0.4mm nozzel. I can ship fully assembled at an additional cost. Only selling to help fund a different hobby. I'm building a makerfarm i3v and purchased the metal z couplers. No matter how tight I twist the screw the z rod will still spin in the coupler. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?by jprochnow - General Mendel Topics

Yeah they were offering to send some replacement(printed) parts but they said that the bent frame was usable and wouldn't send a replacement. Right there I said its going back because they obviously don't care about the accuracy of the printer as the bend would have caused problems. Either way I shipped it this morning back to them. Well they have decided to let PayPal make the decision. They have stopped communicating with me and are taking the route of their going to do nothing. Spoke to PayPal this morning and they found in my favor. The only catch is I need to ship it back. Looks like I'm out original shipping cost for a 1.5 month pain. Well here it is.... This is exactly how my box was received. If I would have pressed on the top it would have pressed in even further. Also attached is the bent frame picture. Not much of a bend but when you are talking a printer that has this type of accuracy this bend will effect it.by jprochnow - Prusa i3 and variants

I'll attach some pictures tonight to show what the early packaging that replikeo used was. From what I hear the new packaging is far better. As for starting the build, I can open the misc parts and lay them on the table but that is about it at this point.by jprochnow - Prusa i3 and variants

Yes unfortunately i'm an unlucky one. Litterally the nuts, bolts, bearings, jhead(still looks OK) and a few of the printed parts are still ok. The rest of the kit needs replacement. Just to give you an idea, the main frame is actually bent(you know how much force that takes to happen). Replikeo has been prompt to respond to my concerns and we are working on a solution for my order. Great communicby jprochnow - Prusa i3 and variants

Today I opened a dispute as I fear it is gone. I called the post office but they see the same thing that it was processed through new York on the 9th and there has been no other information. Hopefully I can get my money back. Don't let my bad luck deter from buying. They have great communication and ship fast. It's not their fault my package is lost.by jprochnow - Prusa i3 and variants
