Thats probably it then. I had mine unplugged for 1 layer of printing by accident and it makes the throat get hot enough to make the plastic pliable which in turn makes a jam like you see. Keep the heatsink fan running and you should not have that issue anymore.by cman8 - Delta Machines

Its not a big deal to reverse motor wires. I have done it, but I did upgrade my motors so thats probably why I had to reverse them to work correctly. I think the other way is to do it in the FW too.by cman8 - Delta Machines
Try to level it out with mallet if you have one. But be careful too. I saw someone here did it and it worked for them.by cman8 - Delta Machines

Quotethevisad QuoteSmileySXT I am looking to buy the Folger Tech Kossel 2020, what a great price. I think it is a great printer with quality parts, I would just like a little more build volume. Has anyone taken the Folger Tech Kossel 2020 and expanded on the width and height by using larger 2020 beams? I would not suggest that you buy this to build another. You can buy the robotdigg corners, cby cman8 - Delta Machines
Quotedavidf01 Quotellamatrails Quotedavidf01 Yes that's what I did. I used Pronterface to extrude the 50mm and only got 40. The extruder was jerking forwards and backwards while it was trying to extrude. I heated the hotend up to 185 then did the extrude. That is how I figured out it was being jerking. I put a pencil mark on the gear and could see it Jerking backwards and forwards when it was tby cman8 - Delta Machines
QuoteSeriouspete Thats a really nice clean looking build. I dont suppose you could link the spool holder and printed bed plate mount. I'm always in the market for something better. I printed this Spool holder with these extension arms. It works great and I think looks cool. The bearing is awesome and glides rather smooth. Bed plate mounts I printed these in version 2by cman8 - Delta Machines
Made the octoprint mod. Works good. Its a little simplistic but overall works awesome. Now gonna install the Azteeg X5 mini. These are the things I have changed from stock -Motors -extruder mount -took off the probe -added the octoprint -added the windows tablet. It runs printrun also so I can use either or with the marlin. Planning on running the Azteeg x5 as I have heard great things about it.by cman8 - Delta Machines
Quotedavidf01 QuoteKoenig Quotedavidf01 Ok so I have my towers and center adjusted so that when they pass the paper test and I use the m114 g code I get: X tower z position is at 1.0 Y tower z position is at .3 Z tower position is at .3 and center on the build plate is at z .9 This is where I get a little lost. QuoteKoenig Quotecman8 What I did to the endstops is hold them down with my thumb and with the other hand loosen the bolt. Then slide ever so slightly up or down to calibrate. as far as positions I used exactly how it stated in the manual. Follow this guide. Its the best. What I did is where it says "Now that you have a general idea for the Z height of the effector at each location, it's time to adjust the end stop screws until the effector is at the same Z height at the base of each tower. I prefer to just eyeball it to begin with." You have to manually loosen the endstops and either raise them or lower them depending how your offby cman8 - Delta Machines
Anyone using octoprint? Think I might try this just as a side little project to do something while I wait for my azteeg board. Is it easy to configure and run? Quotethevisad QuoteKoenig Quotewrangellboy Quotedc42 Quotecman8 Anyone here upgrade to a smoothie board? is it worth the expense? Advantages? Disadvantages? You might also want to consider upgrading to a Duet. It is also a 32-bit board and has probably the best delta firmware of any printer electronics, e.g. it supports segmentation-free delta movement, least-squares fast delta auto calibration,by cman8 - Delta Machines

Other than the stepper motors and PS and such I dont think much else is usable as its shorter I think. Folger definitely gets things wrong and CS although slow, they have always made it right.
