Anyone have plans for the psu mount? I broke mine and need new ones.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
QuoteDeguello Quotegaddcasey1any increase in bed heatup time? I assume you mean decrease? It heats faster. It heats faster still if I use the other 3 cork tiles from the package to block air from the bed while it's heating. ya, that is what i mean. you should time it. mine takes 10 minutes to heat up.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
QuoteDeguello I put a layer of cork under my bed. The tiles come 12x12 inches and are the same thickness as the acrylic washers used to attach the bed. any increase in bed heatup time?by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
so here is what i have so far with the parts from robotdigg, I still need to buy longer arms due to the small effector and make bed mounts to fit the heated bed. There are no printed parts in this build at this time.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Here is the corner idler i got form robotdigg. it seems to fit the fanged bearings that came in the kossel kit, but i have no idea what the laser cut parts are for.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
QuoteDeguello I contacted RobotDigg about metal parts, but the shipping was almost as much as the parts. I guess I'll make do with plastic corners until Folger gets theirs back in stock. when i ordered mine, they where the only ones and i ordered everything they had for a kossel. i figured go big or go home. the shipping was only $30 for me which is a good price i thought.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Quotematthew900 Quotegaddcasey1 My printed parts where bad, i replaced them with metal ones from robotdigg, as for the rails you can always switch to v-rollers. Genius! I’m stopping my build now to order these. A couple questions, I wanted verify 1 set came with all 3 top and bottom pieces, and does the top parts include the idler pulleys? Are there any other parts I need to order to use theseby gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Quotematthew900 I recently bought one of these kits and I was really disappointed with the quality of the linear rails. None of the 3 slide smoothly and one of them is so bad it keeps hanging up in one spot in the middle. I don’t trust these for the build. Is there another source of better quality rails at a reasonable price that you all would recommend? I’m building this with my 10 year old. It’by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Anyone have a hole pattern for the heated bed? I upgraded to robotdigg metal corners and now the bed mounts don't fit. Time to make new ones.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Any reason the linear rails on this kit do not go all the way to the top? Has anyone done a FRS setup, how did you mount it?by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
I just emailed RobotDigg using there contact form and asked where to find the corner idler for their kossel metal corners and they said they would ship them to me next week for free!!by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
QuoteFlish You could print some spacers or cut off the those mound shaped parts from the existing corner for spacers. Just a thought... What color did everybody get? I ordered black but seeing the above pic of the blue I'm kinda digging it. Anybody order any of the other parts? the carriges don't seem to need to be aluminum... I ordered the carrige and effector too. my printed parts where bad.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Quotenewline Quotegaddcasey1 Quotenewline I also got the corner brackets from RobotDigg. However the top ones are unlike the ones that came with the Folger Tech. They don't have the cone shaped structure to hold the belt pulley or the tension screw hole. So far I haven't been able to find any references to what parts are need to make them work. The bottoms look perfect. I've emailed RobotDigg toby gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines

just got my parts from . That was fast shipping.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
QuoteWittmason I just tried to order the RobotDigg effector as my printed effector is too wobbly. After I placed my order they said they'd be in touch. So it obviously isn't really available yet. on my order they got back to me with the cheapest shipping option the next day.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
QuoteDan_FolgerTech Deguello, we are going to be offering the aluminum corners for around $48 and shipped from the US. The ones I have right now are not anodized so they are just plain aluminum. If you want more info, shoot me an email or watch our website for the listing when I get the time to put them up! You should make them part of the kit and ditch the printed parts.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
I found the printed parts made from aluminium here at . I ordered some and will post when they arrive. has anyone ordered these parts before?by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
How do you properly correct kossel flatness? I can paper test the center but it will crash into the bed on the sides of the bed when i do a g1 y85xx.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Quoterotten_carrot Quoterotten_carrot Finally we have lift-off - atleast in a postal sense. Placed my order on the 23rd March through ebay. To my surprise, Shipping notice issued on the 8th April and would you believe it today it's on the move.......... Just thought that I would share my ordering timescale incase it's helpful to someone Arrived in the UK on the 14th April, customs clearanceby gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines

QuoteDeguello Quotegaddcasey1Is there any way to probe an exact point to test my measurements? Assuming your Z max is set so that a piece of paper just drags at Z0: G1 F4000 X0Y0Z10 ; stop 10mm above the bed M280 P0 S5 ; deploy the probe Use the -Z button in Pronterface (or whatever you use) to lower a little at a time, alternating with M119 to show the endstop states. QuoteDeguello Quotegaddcasey1Is this with the extruder that came with the kit? those values seem too big. Those values are measured for my setup. You should measure and enter your own values. Is there any way to probe an exact point to test my measurements?by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
QuoteDeguello Quotegaddcasey1 after auto level the printer starts 10mm above bed, how do I fix? What values do you have for Z_PROBE_OFFSET in configuration.h? In mine: #define Z_PROBE_OFFSET {-29.35, 18, -2.8, 0} -29.5 means the probe is 29.5mm to the left of the hotend 18 means it's 18mm behind the hotend (toward the Z tower) -2.8 means the probe is 2.8mm lower than the hotend All of these nuby gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines

Quotejprochnow What seems to be the problem with it? It really is cheaper than sourrcing your own parts. Even if you replace the weak motors and add the flange bearings and maybe a real e3d hotend it would be a great unit for the money. my printed parts where not the best and customer support takes a long time to help you.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
Quotejprochnow So do people recommend these printers from folgertech? What are some recommended upgrades for it? At the moment I am not happy with them, I have had this thing for a month and still cant get it to print anything. But this is still cheaper than sourcing your own parts.by gaddcasey1 - Delta Machines
