Found a nice USB cable to clear the tight Ramps install. Right angle USB plugby fuubar67 - Delta Machines
I braved printing ABS, ran up the bed to 105C, started printing and about 15 minutes in all 3 steppers gave out. Does anyone experience overheating RAMPs, while cranking up the heat bed. I have ran one hour PLA prints with no issue. The stepper motors are moderately warm at about 45C. It looks like the bottom bed insulation and controll board relocation is a must on these machines.by fuubar67 - Delta Machines
Thank you for your help. The major issue was the orientation of the probe. The build manual shows the probe oriented to the back of the machine. Now that I have the basic working machine, I can start making improvements. Again, thank you very muchby fuubar67 - Delta Machines

The resulting Z height ended up to be 264mm, I can adjust that and see what happens. I still have an issue that the software allows the soft end stops reach the corners even if the build area is circular. Is there a max bedby fuubar67 - Delta Machines
Quotetadawson There is in 1.0.3 . . . not sure about the stuff Folger provides, since I walked away from it about 5 days in . . . but in the new stuff, at least, you set DELTA_PRINTABLE_RADIUS in the Delta section to set that limit. - Tim The folger tech version of firmware does not have the DELTA_PRINTABLE_RADIUS, they are using the soft end stops and the machine over travels, thinking it hasby fuubar67 - Delta Machines

I have just finished the 2020 build. I used the firmware from Folger tech google drive. I built the machine according to their instructions. I managed to calibrate the z height correctly and the arms reach to 76mm diameter with 230mm rods. I have an issue where max_y, min_y, max_y and min_y allows the head to travel too far in the corners. If I travel to z=0 x=0 y=76 all's well, but the machineby fuubar67 - Delta Machines
