When I start a print using PLA at 190 and the printing plate at 60 I get the first layer not always sticking. It starts out fine but when the print head changes position from one part of the print to another part and starts to print again, I get the first 20 mm or so not sticking then it prints fine again. What settings can I adjust to see what the issue is? Thanksby davidf01 - Slic3r

QuoteKoenig Quotedavidf01 Can anyone tell me where the measurements are taken for: DELTA_CARRIAGE_OFFSET DELTA_EFFECTOR_OFFSET I measure from what point to what point for these two settings? Thanks Do keep in mind that the "DELTA_EFFECTOR_OFFSET" is an imaginary point between the rods in a pair. Koenig, Good information here for setting up the repetier firmare. I'm running through the web setup but I'm not sure what some of these values are or what they are used for. Like is "Floor safety margin" used to tell it how far down the sliders can move? I'm also not sure what the heck Z-correction (distortion correction) is used for. I dont want to enter something that will crash my printer. Iby davidf01 - Delta Machines
I wouldn't mind switching to Repetier but there is no information on how to set Repetier up on this printer. Everytime I try i get results that are unusable. What firmware do I load to use with Repetier and what settings do I change to match what I have now in marlin?by davidf01 - Delta Machines
Some more calibration questions. I have been calibrating my printer. I made this test print based on a bunch I have seen online and now I'm not sure what I need to adjust to correct the measurements. See attached picture. It seems that each tower is off slightly and they are not all off the same amount. Thevisad I'm guessing this is where your updated firmware can come in and help? Any help woby davidf01 - Delta Machines

Quotepaul_delta Quoteplrmaker7 You guys that have ditched the probe, are you still using the acrylic bed mounts and/or spacers? Ok Thanks for the help folks. I ordered the E3D (v6) Hotend - 12 Volt / 1.75mm Universal w/Bowden Extras. Now is it pretty straight forward to hook this up? Do the wires all go to the same places as the current hotend?by davidf01 - Delta Machines

QuoteVlerherg Quotedavidf01I would love to try printing some flexible material Flexible material is very fun to print with, but can be a headache as well, especially with a bowden setup. The softer filaments (like NinjaFlex) are not really usable (in my experience) with bowden, as the filament surface creates far more friction in the tube than solid filament and will not feed correctly, if at alby davidf01 - Delta Machines
