Quotepaul_delta QuoteCaptain_Tim The box looks faily big for what's needed. I like the simplicity though. So you think Repetier should be the FW used in the machine based on resources required and features? Is there a supported Repetier version for this printer, or just modify the software myself? I like KISS principle too, but this box looks really nice. There are some mounts but they look uglyby jonh5498 - Delta Machines
QuoteKoenig Quotejonh5498 On another note, what replacement board did you go with? I went with a duet. Was mainly interested to see if the segment free printing would be an improvement. If I had known what I know now when I bought this kit I wouldn't have bought it, not that it is all bad, it just didn't do for me what I wanted. I have changed everything except for horizontal extrusions, heatbby jonh5498 - Delta Machines
QuoteKoenig Quotejonh5498 So I have the Rev B kit built and in operation, well sorta. It homes in the wrong direction. Someone suggested that I rotate the motor lead connectors 180 degrees at the RAMPS board. I don't think that will solve the problem without creating other problems. Anyone else seen this? My build uses 240 mm rods hole to hole. I also have the 2004 LCD/SD card reader that I havenby jonh5498 - Delta Machines

I have the motor plugs oriented per the instructions. Well, that is unless they are wrong in all the pictures included in the manual. Also, I have checked the endstop switches and they are reporting correctly when triggered. I will try reversing them and see what happens. Thanks.by jonh5498 - Reprappers
I recently built a Folgertech Kossel 2020 Rev B kit. It's built and the firmware that was supplied is loaded. I set the initial delta values based on the dimensions of the printer, but I am having an issue where the carriages move down when homing instead of up towards the endstops. It's using an Arduino Mega 2560 and RAMPS 1.4. Have any of you folks seen this issue before? Thanks in advance forby jonh5498 - Reprappers
