Is there a how to for the manual calibration?by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
Currently having an issue printing even over larger print areas. Seems like half my print's first few layers dont get extruded because some areas of the bed are too close to the nozzle, almost like the bed is 'slanted'. Is this a software calubration issue? The autolevel seems to work ok. Thanksby Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
Quoteo_lampe @BigKahuna Your Kapton tape must not overlap. You better accept a small gap between the strips or be more accurate and place them side_by_side. -Olaf Thanks. I was trying to prevent gaps but I will replace it once the nozzle doesnt scrape anymore.by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
Finally got my test print completed! 10x10x10mm cube came out great. Only issue is that the nozzle is too close to the bed. It ended up scraping off some of the kapton I had placed. Any way to adjust this nozzle height after its gone through G28 and G29 prior to printing? Thank!!by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
Any ideas on why it keep printing like this? lasts about secs then homes. Only prints vertically. Thanksby Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
ok looks like the temp was off by just a tiny bit. Now I just need to sort out the actual printing. It just squirts in one place while moving up in the Z haha. Thanks everyone for the help. Couldnt have gotten this far without this site.by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
both hotend and bed are heated. Nothing happens at all once I hit print.by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
How long does it take to 'initialize' printing? I loaded the gcode from slic3r and something happens. Probe is up and everything.by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
I know this may be a very broad question, but any tips on printing for the first time since no .ini was supplied? Im attempting without setting up my auto probe retract which im not in a rush to setup. Can I auto level, go to 0,0,0 and begin printing with my .stl file after tweaking slic3r parameters?by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
Is there suppose to be a Blomker .ini file in the slic3r zip?by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
Quotehacker QuoteBigkahuna2187 Quotehacker QuoteBigkahuna2187 Looks like I had a bad stepper drive. Good thing the kit came with an extra! Meaning you got it working? Yes everything is working properly now. Glad it was an easy fix. Now, when homing, are the carriages suppose to hit the endstops and stay or are they suppose to go down some? Congrats ;-) But you're out of spare stepper driversby Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines

Quotehacker QuoteBigkahuna2187 Haha "home" button in the GUI. I will double check but it appears everything is setup correctly according to the diagrams. Thanks I figured that, but couldn't resist ;-) There are many diagrams around and although I'd expect them to be the same and show all motors the same way, you can just compare your X-motor wiring to Y and Z which move in the correct directiby Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines

Okay I have everything fired up now. Only issue now is going though the checks in Pronterface. All the end stops and probe switch appear to be functiong. When I go to hit the hope button or G28 the X carriage goes down in the opposite direction instead of going towards the end stop. This happens until Y and Z hit their respective stops. Any ideas? Thanks again.by Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
Are both Com and V+ (four total) connected to the Ramps? I have seen different diagrams and some show 2 connected while some show all 4. For some reason the Ramps works (fan blows) but the Arduino doesn't come on. The only way to get the Arduino to turn on is unplugging the probe swtch. Any ideas? Thanks Aloha, if you have to ask such things, it's better to let someone else with experience do that for you. -Olaf Thanks for the useful information. I'm quite capable of building this, I'm just trying to double checkby Bigkahuna2187 - Delta Machines
