Ohhh.... I wrote earlier in the thread that my screen was dead. During the VERY long dialog with Lerdge, they accepted top replce my screen, but I had to send the bad one back to China. So I just ordered a new one myself, because shipping the old one would cost as much as a new one, and the wait would kill me. When I got my screen, the new one did not work either. I then found te problem of aby SJN - Controllers
I got it working on my Tevo little monster Delta with 220V heatbed via the stock SSR. Fairly wasy conversion. But, I could not get the BLTocutch to work :-( I tripple checked the wiring, and the settings stated in the totorial on the Lerdge site are pretty clear and obvious......but I cant get it to work. On power up, the BL touch does its test cycle, and the pin cycles up and down a few times,by SJN - Controllers
I have contacted the seller. The Lerdge should have not problem at all opperating the SSR. Its just turning the relay on and off. No matter what heatbed is connected on the other side of the SSR. There is no connection to 220V Yes, the endstops needed the wires to be switched, and everything else works fine. Only the screen is dead. Hi guys. I just bought this board, and was setting it up on my Tevo little monster delta, and then after a reboot, the screen is not working. Anyone had this appen, any ideas to fix it ? The touch screen seems to work, as it will home if you press on the screen I also treid the long and short ribbon cables, and no difference Before it stopped working, it was a little unrealable a few rebootsby SJN - Controllers
I doubt it, otherwise it would ve very noisy......and that is not the case.by SJN - Delta Machines
Yea, allways a reason for things :-) Well, removed the TMC 2100, and installed LV8729`s. ordered 4, but one of them had a broken VREF pot. So installed 3 on the XYZ, and a TMC on the extruder. First cube at 1/16 stepping looked very similar to the TMC Other cube at 1/32 looks way better. TMC`s are silent, LV`s make some noise, and the DRV8825 are noisy. Printed at 0.25mm height. Tmc left,by SJN - Delta Machines
Yes, it is strange. Sorry, did not mention, but the left cube is printed on the chinese nozzle, and the right is the E3D nozzle. 40 is stamped on the chinede nozzle, and 4 dots on the E3D. I havea actually updated the firmware to another version now that I think about it...... The steps in the config file, and arm length and radious and steps has changed since I made the old cube. New firmwby SJN - Delta Machines
Strange. I just removed the chinese heatbreak, and 0.4mm nozzle, and installed original E3D parts instead......now I also get the wood grain texture in my pints.....could not replicate that before at any layer height with the old nozzle Printed at 0.25mm 0.4nozzleby SJN - Delta Machines
ok...so I was looking at all my prints, and saw the bottom layer was looking realy nice.....and thats when it prints slowly So I decided to do a complete print slowly at 20mm/s and see what happen, and it actualy looks much much nicer....... why is speed effecting this ? I dont know if you can see the differences in the pictures, but in rea llife, it is quite noticable. Left benchie is at 40mm/by SJN - Delta Machines
Have tried smoothers on the 2100's, and they do nothing at all. They work great on the drv 8825by SJN - Delta Machines

Yes, it is strange. But why does the duet with the same stepper motors print so much better? I would like to try 0.9 steppers, but have no idea what to buy... So many options..... Any sugestions for some good ones ?by SJN - Delta Machines
Thanks.... Orderd them. Will see what happensby SJN - Delta Machines
Yes, but fast decay will be realy loud right ? I have read a little on the LV8729 driver you sugested, and will order some . Which ones are the best ? Are the MKS ok, or can you get "original" ones somewhere ? Your print looks perfect :-)by SJN - Delta Machines
Interesting... Im still new with these 3d printers. Maybe I could take my A4988 drivers, from the kossel, and install them instead of the TMC2100`s ? Just to test them, and see if they print better.......but I realy hate the noise it makes. The TMC`s sound great. no, setting that layer height did not fix it......it made the texture rougher actualy.by SJN - Delta Machines
I just doubt that its the drivers that are making the pattern. The TMC2100`s should be great right ?by SJN - Delta Machines
HELP :-) How do I fix my new printer. I bought the sintron mini kossel, and it actualy prints fantastic with its a4988 drivers. But It cant print very fast because of the 8 bit Arduino cpu on it. So I bought the Tevo little monster which has the MKS 32 bit Sbase smoothiboard clone, and has the 8825 drivers on it. I lowered the vref on the 8825 drivers, and the print quiality went up. Then I iby SJN - Delta Machines
Very cool Try swapping around the extruder driver with one of the others and see if it changes anything. If your extruder runs cool, then you can up the current. My extruder begins to grind the filament before it clicks, because either I have set the hot end temp too low, so it cant melt it fast enough, or there is a feed proplem, like the spool is stuck, of there is too much resistance in theby SJN - Delta Machines
Good. Now print it slower, so you can make a more accurate cube :-)by SJN - Delta Machines
I just use the T nuts, springs, and some washers to keep up the tension, so it does not move around.by SJN - Delta Machines
If you aer using my file, just remember to swap back the wires you changed, because I did not do that. I only reversed the connector for the extruder motor, as it was feeding backwards. Good luck on the tests. Remeber to define that you are using a delta printer in the slicers, and if you are using simplyfy3d, make sure you move the center co ordinates to the middle of the build plate :-)by SJN - Delta Machines
Wibbles, you just have to reverse the direction in the firmware...way easer that messing around with the hardware........you WILL be compiling your own firmware anyway :-) Downloading the stock marlin firware from the marlin site will not work without setting up all the parameters for the sintron mini kossel.by SJN - Delta Machines
OG, have you selectred the correct probe in the marlin firmware ? Try use my config.h file, and see what happens. Wibbles, the extruder will only move when the hotend has reached the temperature preset in the marlin firmware :-)by SJN - Delta Machines
Thanks for the info. But since changing the firmware to a newer version does not make my ptints nicer, all just use he old one :-) Is here any other reason to move to the new firware that I am not aware of ?by SJN - Delta Machines
QuoteWibbles You are a star, thanks, I'll download the file ready for when I have completed the build. If anyone wants to know how to build the perfect printer, I highly recommend this guys videos on You Tube. Kossel Build Videos , there are about 65 of them, and he goes into massive detail. The problem with the Arduino errors is that some commands have been deprecated in the later versions, eby SJN - Delta Machines
This is the the newset RC 8 version that is set up for my mini kossel. It works just as well as the old one, but I did not like the way it ends a print compared to the old included firmware. Now when a print is finished, the caragies return to end stops, and thn they move down and park themselves at the maximum print height. The old firmware parks the carages against the end stops at the top,by SJN - Delta Machines
Here my Configuratin h file for the firmware downloaded from the Sintron site link when you buy the mini kossel. I use the older Arduino 1.05-R2 software version, as the newer versions say there are errors or something when you try to compile the firmware. This is the firmware that I printed all the stuff shown earlier with. Its pretty crappy from sintron that when you download their firmwareby SJN - Delta Machines
I have only upgraded to the traxxas ball links :-)by SJN - Delta Machines
no insulation on mine.....by SJN - Delta Machines
It was my first try with 0.1mm layer height :-) Was just amazed with the result. There was quite alot of stringing that I removed before taking the pics. I need to lower the temp when printing so thin layers. settings for 0.3 :-) and 0.2mm dont work for 0.1mm :-) Yes, could probably use a bit more material in the extruder.....needs more tweaking :-) There is also a little ghosing if you looby SJN - Delta Machines
