I'm sorry to see the frame isn't working as it should, but I think you're giving up too fast. The arms look a bit too long in my opinion. It gives me the feeling I want to write holding the pen close to the eraser. If I were you I would check all arms between them to see if they are equal. Just stand them all up against the table and see how even they are now. They also have to point in the sameby Gheorghe - Delta Machines
Sorry I didn't mentioned. I'm eastern European, romanian to be exact. Any reason you're selling that would be helpful in this topic?by Gheorghe - Delta Machines
Hello again guys and girls! So I finally decided to build a Delta printer. I'll mostly use this BOM: Thank you again Mr. Carter! First order will be on Robotdigg, as I want to get that out of the way. I'm not sure how long they take to ship, but I'll update with pictures or video when I have new stuff to share. My experience with deltas does not exist, so the things I'm not sure about in thatby Gheorghe - Delta Machines
So the only downside of CR10 is speed? I'll trade speed for accuracy any time, even tho everybody wants to have them both, including me. Speed is relative anyway. When I mean I want it fast, I mean I don't want to be the last to finish the race, not to actually win the race. I know you can't have the cake and eat it too. So how hassle free are Deltas these days? The Prometheus system allows theby Gheorghe - Delta Machines
I'll add something 100% on topic. Time lapse videos look bad on cartasian, and very cool on delta After reading so many days I can finally feel I'm close to call myself a beginner. Now that I found parts cheap and so close to me, extruded aluminum and quality rails (in both V style and MGN), I'm really torn between building a delta or a CR10 style frame. If I choose the CR10 I will not buy itby Gheorghe - Delta Machines
Now I have the feeling you both are gently steering me away, back to extruded aluminum rail style, which is not a bad thing because I'm very opened to suggestions. The design changed so many times, I'm used to it already. The rigidity of the frame and the printing itself comes first, than the difficulty in mechanical tuning and maintaining the printer in time. The cost is the least important foby Gheorghe - Delta Machines
@Mr. David That Fisher tip was gold, platinum even. Some of my plans changed a bit thanks to Fisher. I'm almost embarrassed to use his design in helping mine. So much work, detailed explained pictures, .stl , cad, and so on. It shorten my work A LOT. QuoteMKSA Quality smooth rod is hardened steel and you can't thread . Anyway, better secure it in a hole, a slit and a bolt to squeeze it, rather sby Gheorghe - Delta Machines
Buna ziua, S-a discutat vreodata un group buy de pe reprapworld.com ? Pe mine m-ar interesa Duet WIFI in principiu, dar as pune si altele in cos. Sunt sigur ca exista solutii la eliminarea riscului ce-l aduce transferul banilor catre unicul cumparator, dar as vrea sa vad intai informativ, daca exista doritori, si de ce prodose ar fi interesati. Am sa fac 2 liste in privinta asta. Stiu ca e greuby Gheorghe - Piața din centru
This topic tried to answer my current question, and I'm glad I found it. I'm really wondering what the latest tests showed since the last post. I plan to build my own delta, and I too want to use 6 smooth rods as rails AND frame pillars. The difference is I want to make it 1000-1100mm tall, and plan to use 16mm rods. Actually, I was roaming the forums to see if anyone used this method with a sliby Gheorghe - Delta Machines
