repetier seems easy to be used.I will have a try maybe It will work.Thank you for your help!by ttgiegi - Delta Machines
I'm thinking about that If I can use an Arduino due r3 as a controller for delta printer? If Marlin firmware can be used directly...or need some more sets for it?by ttgiegi - Delta Machines
It can work well when I connect to my computer. And I have ordered a new board for It hope will work better. The part list of my delta was written several years ago maybe arduino mega2560 with lcd2004 can work well if i use old firmware but you know without auto calibration it will take much more time to make It work ...by ttgiegi - Delta Machines
I downloaded a firmware changed by others for anycubic kossel and it's based on Marlin 1.1.8.Things became better than before I noticed that the value of segment is 100.The version I change before is 200.At least I can select a file from SD card unmeant and there isn't messy code.On the other hand when the program is running the printer will stop random and after a while it will shut itself downby ttgiegi - Delta Machines
I get It.I will reflash the firmware and try again.I havs built 5 ordinary printers. And i think kossel is very interesting and charming.Maybe i will buy a 32 bit board for it..by ttgiegi - Delta Machines
so It is all because of my arduino mega 2560?I searched on the Internet and I found a delta printer of anycubic the cup is also atmega2560.It seems work well.Anyway i will try to flash a marlin1.1.8 download from Twingiverse for delta printed and see If things become better....by ttgiegi - Delta Machines
this is my card and It works will on my corexy printer with lcd12864 controllerby ttgiegi - Delta Machines
I'm also useing a electric relay to connect to ramps to control the power supply and get a 5v from ramps for the relay. Is that a problem?by ttgiegi - Delta Machines
Hi guys! As the topic.I'm trying to make a delta printer.and there is a strange problem with It.I'm useing arduino mega2560 as a controller ramps 1.4 drv8825 for xyz axis and a reprap lcd2004 smart controller.when I'm trying to run a gcode file in the SD card the screen will become steange when i turn the button the name of files will become messy code and If i chose one of them the printer willby ttgiegi - Delta Machines
Yeap the problem of the circle was caused by the belt and my design works better now.I have made some changes of x and y carriages to make it more stronger than before especially these poins you have pointed out.It will work better than the parts I'm useing now. Maybe I will redesign a new corexy printer with v-wheel and some other problems will be solved.by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
Here are some pictures for my test results! You can see these circles have became so much better than before the thickness is even and the surface is smooth. Those blue circles were printed by corexy printer and black circles were printed by ultimaker. If you watch carefully you can see there is a raised line on both of the circles.I guess it's more likely caused by my cura software? The file I usedby ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
Your design will reduce the flex I think.I put my motor mounts near the corner of the frame so It is not adjustable.I can only adjust the length to change the tension on my belts. It is not convenient enough to use the printer for a long time.Anyway after I redesign some parts I will try to print some more circles with different diameter to test if I have solved this question.by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
It's a much more reliable design I think. But I thought for a while it may not suit for this gesign now.But it gave me a thought. When the axis of wheels are turned it will must be a good way to solve this problem.by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
Of course the blue one will flex easier than the green one.To adjuat the tension If I can add some more adjustable wheels (near the arrow points)to guarantee that there is enough tension on the belts?by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
For my motor mounts their thickness are both 8mm I think it's enough to hold the moters.Useing a metallic mount is a good idea they are cheap and reliable. And now the belts looks good when the carriage is very close to the max position.by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
I made some change to x carriage like the picture. How do you think about this ?The rings become more thick!by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
I changed the part and make the belt be parallel to the y guide rail(at least from my own angel of view) About the placement mode of the wheels after you both talked about this problem I think about It carefully and I agree with your idea the mode I'm useing now will abrade only one side and If the printer is used for a long time some trouble there gonna be.Anyway it's my first time to design a mby ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
First question I adjust the length of belts to change the strength on them and I'm considering about to add a spring to increase tension but It will make the x distance of travel smaller than now.Second whrn I set y guide rail Iused a levelling instrument to make sure the beging and the end of each guide rail is standard and to make sure both of them on the same flat surface. For x axis I used simby ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
Yes my new parts for idlers is printing and i will replace it after finished and then I will test if the circle become better.by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
More picture will be uploaded hope will be usefulby ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
The grey carriages of y axis is a little bit loose with y guide rail I printed a new y carriage and I think it will be better. And Just as you said the outside surface of my wheels are made of POM material and the abrasion is eyeable maybe I will upgrade it in the future.About redesign the y carriage, you mean let the axis of the wheels perpendicular to the xoy flat surface? The flat spots you pointby ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
The firmware of my printer is Marlin.I download it from github. The software is cura 4.0.0.I don't think it was caused by the gcode file because this file works well on the other printer. It may caused by the angel between belts and guide rails.I'm trying to change the parts to solve this problem.by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
I'm using marlin software for my printer and the acceleration of x y axis are both 3000.I print this file 80mm/s is this too fast?by ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
step/mm is the same for the moters . I have noticed that when the carriage is very close to the idler the two belts will have a small angle will this be a problem? thank youby ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
Hello guys! I'm a freshman of designing a 3d printer.I'm really interested in a printer work with wheels so It took me one month to design a corexy. But i have a strange problem that confused me for a long time. When it is printing a square or something else everything is good but when i try to print a circle It will change into a oval. This problem is not obvious when the circle is big enough for eby ttgiegi - CoreXY Machines
