check your retract value, if there is everything ok, check if stepper motor maybe skip steps due to high retraction acceleration. also its ok to check fillament diameter and also if extruder is calibrated good...by woo - Reprappers
you have all drawings on e3d online web page. i dont know about makerfarm wooden mount. plate, i have milled my on cnc .(didnt have working printer yet)... il test max working speeds soon, new printer will have max speeds at least 500 mm/s (x-y axis)by woo - Reprappers
your first level is too low...level Z axis right, and it should be ok.by woo - Reprappers
nothing special...prusa i3, for now.. u got topic in reprappers forums... waiting for timing belt, then it will be hbot with 10mm rails for x,y and 20 mm rails for Z axis, robust welded frame(and then cnc machined) trying to figure out how to make printer with some serial IP certificates... etcby woo - Reprappers
meassure rod diameter, it should be about 7.96-7.99 mm. also, try cleaning the bearing and put some grease in. maybe you got some dirt(dust, sand etc) inside bearing..by woo - Reprappers
there you go.... no problems with pla, nylon or abs. for now tested till 275 celsius, nozzle o.4 mm, lowest tested layer for now 0.1 mm (pla). thinking about buying 0.25 nozzle so that my wife can print tiny "wife-ish" stuff like earrings etc in lets say high definition, maybe 0.02 mm layers(if ultimaker can print @0.02 mm layers, then we can to ).. 2 jinx: i assume you are printing on 1by woo - Reprappers
any news about software?by woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
hey, just one simple question. i am currently printing with rep. host(eprom 0), but i am switching to smart lcd, so when i change to eprom mode 1 is any way to import settings from firmware automaticaly to eeprom? there is a lot of settings, so maybe il save some time...by woo - Repetier
no jamming with mine e3d, and i actually dont have any problem with it, it cant be jammed, and i dont know how to do that, it just prints and prints...i have countless time set to preheat, ant then forgotten about it, left for hours etc....by woo - General
picture....then we figure out some patch...by woo - Reprappers
make fan housing like e3d has, and problem solved....maybe....by woo - General
thats because when powdercoating powder bakes in owen on 170+ degrees celsious.so every moisture in wood will results with bad powdercoating. i have akso powdercoating on my working place, but we are dealing only with metals...by woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
well, when we look evolution of prusa nozzle looks like nozzle evolutes to the e3d hotend. it stil mmisses better heat conduit material in the nozzleby woo - General
in my opinion, when i see print comparission between stratasys, and good tuned reprap: stratasys has heated chamber so it can print nice abs priints. in print qualitiy il call it equal, or reprap better, for example, first out of google: nothing special, i can have better prints, but in pla, not abs because my parts are warping... better fillament control (also higher price) in profi printeby woo - General
well, i am lazy ass guy so i folded few sheets of newspaper, and clamp it in sandwich with glass and pcb....it worksby woo - Reprappers
how many kg of plastic should last abs gear set? i have now printed 2-3 kilos and gears are still like new...by woo - Reprappers
put some isolator below heated pcb. also if its cold in room i think thats ok...by woo - Reprappers
very nice! also a very good idea to make new fasteners for glass(i have atleast 10 glasses for printing, i think i could easy make quick fasteners to take glass away, do my stuff and put it back on exact same place...) very good video!by woo - General
this is only for testing controllers, becouse some people had problems with skipping steps(tb6560), but no problems here. i actually print closer to 30-35 mm/sec for everyday prints...i have a lot time so why hurry but good to know that i can go fast. maybe i shall try bowden mod....hm....i have one bowden tube laying arroud and waiting new printer...maybe 250-300 mm /sec is possible....by woo - Reprappers
Yvan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > So how did the quality turn out? What speed > settings were you using BTW? I think 190 mm/sec. Quality is fine, perimeters were very good but infill layers are not sticking together,i think too low temperature so i stopped print. I need better camera, my phone camera has to low fps...by woo - Reprappers
respect, you have managed to do what thousands reprappers and engeeneers didnt, 3d printed 3d printer.by woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
use full step on Z, you dont need microsteps. this is common error in reprap community, 2 Z motors on one driver with microsteps, that cant be good. 0.04 mm error in Z height is nothing to worry.by woo - Reprappers
hello, yes, i am doing so, slicing in cura and then import g code to repetier, for me its ok, but i am searching simple solution for my wife.(actually slic3r is generally ok, except lihe 1000% longer slicing time then cura, and he cant generate some gcodes(i get out some weird coder with empty layers etc), while cura does it perfectly).. 2 funkymonk: you can edit start.gcode and end.gcode in cuby woo - Repetier
wally is great! cant wait to see source. can you upload firmware? pleaseby woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
yes, those joints are looking good. ok, we are talking in different directions, you are looking cheaper, diy solution, its ok, i know how stuff works when working series production. i am looking for simplicity, and possibility to make better machine with not so good machine...so for me those 2-3 bearings or 10-20usd are not so important... so if printer is only good leveled, and if z axis is lby woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
how software works on actual morgan, any glitches, problems? one another idea, to minimise printing time, also ammount of material, maybe using 3 part bearings for joints (only showing type of bearing) one of these in the middle, arm on each side, and 2 smaller on outsides, everything bolted together...those bearings are very cheap, i can get them in local store for about 1 usd. with theby woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
optimise morgan, incorporate biger pulleys on arm,use smaller ammount of printed plastic etc...morgan could be a lot cheaper, easier, faster. belts or fishing lineworm gear could not be so precise...by woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
