very nice, except that hotend reaches only up to 220 c, and i really dont like those traxxas . i have @ home 2 packages and lot of them have play between plastic and metal ball.. yes, i know they are cheap so they are popular..but not good enough for me..by woo - Reprappers

so anything new about this combo? i like cura because good slicer software but cannot connect to repetier fw....by woo - Repetier
pure graphite grease in my case....by woo - Reprappers
i have omron switches from ebay, but not micro, little larger, precision is better then 0.005mm(5 microns.)by woo - General
assemble your printer, take meassuring gauge and a good 90 degree angled corner and meassure, fix, improvise. when you have 90 deggrees between all axis you are done. this will take few days if you are not experinenced engeeneer or technic. or just assemble it and print vases -this waz joke because i see on build yournals, that 99% 3d printers are not good calibrated and cant actually make usby woo - Reprappers
no problems with my gears, got it in kit(all abs), forn now about 200-300 working hours, they are like new no grease. but good to know, il print me a set of pla gears if they are neededby woo - Reprappers
robin, acceleration value is needed to souit yours printer frame gigitity and motor power. so if you have very rigid frame with strong motors and low moving mass you can input higher acceleration value. why is that important.... well, if all criteria above are matched you coult print corners virtually with same extruding speed, else in corners etc extruder slows down, then machine change direby woo - General
same with me...tried few days ago same thing, with slicer and 100% infill the results were same, but with cura no problems. generally, i find cura slicer much better then slic3r also it works faster with less moving, better in every term.. but i cant connect cura to repetier firmware, so i just export gcode to repetier host...by woo - Reprappers
do another printer....rather i2 then i3....by woo - Reprappers
my best mate ordered v5, cant wait to see difference v4.1 is great, first hotend, first printer, noob etc, never jammedby woo - General
yes, i had same problem too...but not that obvious...its like extruder is start extruding too late... and this is only visible in single layer wall, correct? smaller retract could help, also unckeck "retract during layer change" if i remember correct. this changes helped a lot. another thing, with wich i have played yestrday is extruder. check for backlash in gears.... if they have play, thenby woo - General
well, after many moths of R&D you could make X axis belt straight...its just detail...by woo - General
if you cand stand on it while printer prints, then its ok. look for rigid, and good frame/base, everything else is not problem. i suggest to avoid prusa i2 and i3., those are printers for vases and yodas, not for precise parts.by woo - General
i have 40w cartridge, didnt setup anyting in firmware, just plugged in and it runs, heats very fast...by woo - General
well, i have seen a lot of delta derivates,(making my own also) but, if you check it a little you se, that "first" johann's delta makes amaising prints, and actually, there are not so many inprovements in any rostock derivate in field of quality or speed, except in design field. aluminium extrusions are very rigid, so no problems there, but you have to clean carriages, because those wheels wilby woo - General
windows+automatic updates+reboot 7 hours of printing ruined....(left overnight)by woo - Reprappers
im not having fan for pla(actually i have, but im to lazy to mount them ), just filling the plate with more parts...by woo - Reprappers
i have different profiles in repetier/slicer for each material, and tweak each profile "on the fly". yes, each material different settings(temperatures, retract, speed is same i think...) about machine speed, i print @30-40 mm/sec, but when i have a lot of parts and it will last long then i just slide feedrate bar for me, trimming line nylon oozes a lot more then abs or pla..i think i retracby woo - Reprappers
tried printing husquarna trimming line....first print, works perfectly printed on bed prepaired for pla with wood glue, hotend 220, bed 80 celsius. it waz actually a joke because i have today trimmed my lawn....and it worksby woo - Reprappers
Y axis+ ZX H gantry?? is it possible to add this option in firmware? thanx!by woo - Repetier

you have allready topic about morgan. yes, its very little information about it. designer has slow down a little after receiving gada prize.. i check every few days quentins blog, awaiting for assembly manual..also if i got it right he's doing routine for easy calibration for dummies. about reprap default.....hm...maybe but i dont think so dont get me wrong, i really like this conceptby woo - General
i have borrowed pulleys for motorsby woo - Delta Machines
printing everything for calibration i print all kind of stuff that i find on net. or for example some funny stuff for wife, yestrday my doughter got porsche gt2 but also a lot of prototyping designed by me, for projects, new printer ets, thats the reason why i have printer.by woo - General
the cheapest way to get reprap is if you dont buy reprap parts. what i will say, buy reprap plastic kit, or ask someone to print it for you. then linear berings from ebay, but under the lm8uu, not reprap bearings... smoothrods and all vitamins in local hardware store, minimum stainless steel.(i have payed 6 rods 500 mm long, stainless steel 10 mm diameter 55$) timing belt and pulleys also inby woo - Reprappers
you should tell us no errors with e3d, i recon this hotend to everyoneby woo - General
