I agree with jamesdanielv that it sounds like you have an electrical problem. Is your powersupply powerful enough to deliver a steady supply? Have you cut your wires as short as they can be? Are the cables to the motors tied tightly together and routed away from the electronics? I think it might be a good idea to twist the cables to each phase of the motors together if your type of cable allows.by Mallgan.O - General
Yes, uGens threads have been great inspiration for me. I should have acknowleged him/her in my first post because that´s where I got the information about PET. Thank you uGen. I hope to see some follow up on how it went with that setup. I see an issue in the no PLA thread design that I want to work further with. My gut feeling says that block is to rigid. 3D printers have relatively small loads oby Mallgan.O - Developers
Hi there I have been thinking on and off about how to make simple linear bushings from plastic and just a few days ago i started my experiment by drilling out a nylon rod with pretty good results. My brief investigation of the matter suggested that PET is a far better material to use though so I have been thinking back and forth on how to use PET plastic cut from bottles as a liner(?). Maybe copper paste would do? It is rated to withstand 1100°Cby Mallgan.O - General
The way I see it is that some entities will use their power to undermine what is emerging from this community and I am not alone as it seems. Who, why and so forth is a matter of speculation until further investigation might shed some light on it. I am spending my vacation roofing so my time is limited but I will take a look and see if I can find out more about the alarm reports later. Meanwhileby Mallgan.O - General

Ok, so answer is no, it is not just me but nothing to worry about?by Mallgan.O - General
The reason for bringing this subject up is that I am worried this might be the beginning of something similar that has happened to the information sharing scene. Obscene laws that give corporations mandate to police the internet, supervision and so on. I would hate to see that but this is a movement of freedom and sharing witch has a tendency to always end up in the line of fire by the establishmby Mallgan.O - General
Hello everyone! I have been hangin around here, reading up on 3d printers in general for a year or so and will hopefully start a delta style build after summer if all is well. However, back to topic. Is it just me or has anybody else noticed what seems to be propaganda campaign against 3d printers in the media lately? The gun for example. That story is blown way out of proportion and has been gby Mallgan.O - General
