ok, i so got this printer from folgertech... looks like a great setup...so after looking at all the earlier complaints about delays in shipping and all, and hearing that the customer relations dept sucks, i went ahead and took a risk in buying it anyway as it is priced right for me... well, good news is it only took about 2 weeks to get my printer... perfect... as i inventoried everything i noticby 09zx-6r - Delta Machines

does anyone have a "how to" to mod the Boot up logo and info on the reprap full graphics display 12864 LCD ??? for some reason the boot up logo "Marlin" is cutting off at the entire left side of the info that boots next to the logo and is covered by a white line...Im getting annoyed by it!!!by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
can u get it to flow when its off the bed ? as in having the z axis @ home position, pre heat the nozzle and extrude? if so does it flow properly? have you done a calibration of filament flow? have you measured the filament for roundness at many different spots? some filament isnt round at all, some are perfect, some have a range of thickness thru out the roll...by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
it looks like the bed is not level... causing the nozzle to touch the bed and stop the flow at the end of the nozzle untill it gets to a greater gap between the bed and nozzle...i had that happen to me when i first installed the e3dv6... but i also had made changes to the bed causing a need for releveling... but none the less, if your printing at the correct speed, then id look at bed level...by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
figured out my issue... its windows 8.1 thats the issue... it has a hidden power management override in the OS... even tho the power mgt option is accessable and able to be turned off, win8.1 will still over ride the setting to suit the need of pwr usage when on battery... it goes into active suspend and i lose connection... i found by having it plugged into the pwr cord, it never lost connectioby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
i switched and use the original setup... no mod needed... let me know if ur interested..by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
hey guys... its been a while... well iv run into a odd print issue i cant seem to figure out... for some reason if i try to print anything with round holes or curved shapes, the printer vibrates like its struggling to print. i turned the jerk down to 10 and it got much better but none the less still does it...see pics...in the 2nd image u can see the jerk setting change little past half way thrby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
Has anyone had issues with there printer usb disconnecting randomly during prints? doesnt do it in windows 7, but in windows 8/8.1 it does. iv tried everything...except paying $349usd to microsoft to "try" and resolve the issue...by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
no i havent tried that... in fact i got rid of the ABL setup entirely after switching to matterhackers software to do everything... it has a bed leveling setup in it thats done thru the software rather than the firmware...works great for me... works great except it doesnt like my intel chipset drivers in windows 8.1... it loses communications at random times...so i use my backup laptop running wiby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
So lately iv ben having a weird issue...usually about 20minute into a print my lcd screen displays random things... the printer runs great and i havent changed anything in the fw (maelin 1.0.2)... has anyone else had this issue? I checked connections..all are fine...by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
right well i dont disagree... just curious to find where its at... still need to figure out why my Z axis isnt coming down to the bed...by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
OK, so i figured out my issue with the z always slamming into the bed, it wasnt the firmware, it was in fact the Gcode that cura was running...so i started fresh just be sure, well after i uploaded the new FW and setup the ABL as per tom sanladerers vid, it works great when manually inputting the Gcode thru pronterface... however, even tho i added the G29 to the start code, it doesnt function proby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
i DL'd the new v1.0.2 thats in development...seems to be fairly stable...found some minor things that could use change, mostly typagraphical and descriptive things but all my issues with ABL are gone for the most part...but i do have 2 big issues with ABL enabled...after homing z To the center of the bed, then doing a g29 to probe the grid, it wont move to the far right of the bed it only measureby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
it commented out...as is the docking offset...see config file below.... and yes i know the config file has a name change..did that to keep it from getting confused with my working file...by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
is your fan a 3 wire or 2? if your using the 3rd sensor wire on the fan, the Slicer is telling it to slow down with the M106 (fan on) s199 (speed voltage rate, PWM rate) which is not full power... full power will look like M106 s255... if your using just the 2 wires (red/black) then it will be full power all the time... when in use, the power is regulated by slicer, hense your s199, so your fby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
anyone? cmon... some one out there....by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
fan lable should be facing down, as into the ducting.... if you feel the opening around the hot end you should feel air coming out when on.. if you do then your good.... not all the air goes to the hot end, so yes it will have some air coming out at the fan, making it feel as if its blowing the wrong way... this is because the fan is blowing into a small space and the outlet is even smaller, soby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
what version of marlin are you using? your images didnt load...but the URL worksby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
ok so i want to use the auto bed leveling setup... i have the probe and mount ready to go.. when i updated the FW to do auto bed leveling i got an error, i followed step by step from youtube guru Tom Sanladerer on how to do this on marlin and on his mendel90... however it isnt working for me... so heres my error: This report would have more information with "Show verbose output during compilaby 09zx-6r - Mendel90
figured it out.... found a small crack in the threads where the plastic body enters the metal hot end block,,, as it heated up the crack expanded and leaked... a little JB weld and back in buisness... no leaks!!by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
Goto tinkercad.Com and import the STL to the workplane...you can mod it from there.. if u still have trouble let me know..I'll redo it..by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
ok..here ya go.. try it out... i cut the original sturdy duct in half, then expanded the nozzle end by 8mm in all directions...by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
So after a few prints I started noticing build up around the nozzle just above the tapper and around the top of the nozzle block where it threads into the body...it's a Geeetech j-head v5...I tightened it while it was hot to take up any expansion...but it still leaks!!! Thoughts?? What's a better nozzle that has a really good price and worth it???by 09zx-6r - Mendel90
